Grain Spillage Frustration

I like this mill, but TONS of milled grain comes out the back/ bottom. I am not sure if It's just mine came broken or what. The canister is fully in, so that's not the problem. It comes out the very bottom.

I received my classic grain mill in the mail yesterday and I’m pleased to say that you can’t tell it has ever been used / refurbished! I am new to milling my own grains so I wouldn’t be able to tell right away of anything was wrong with it but I did use it to make spelt muffins this morning and it worked like a charm! (: I’m very excited!

Made muffins.

Have only used it one time, but it worked well on the soft wheat berries. I gave my muffins an 7 out of 10 rating. Hopefully will do better the next time.

Surpisingly pleased!

I grew up with a flour mill, but now after 25 years later from not using one we got our own. The first things the I was impressed with is that it is quieter than I thought, especailly with the lid on. It was cleaner, no flying four dust, and does large quanities. I'm very happy!

The unit looks brand new! Came packaged with all the expected instructions, receipt for warranty, etc. Haven't used it yet so can't give full 5 stars.

Classic Grain Mill

I’ve used it to mill sprouted wheat, quinoa, and teff, and it has performed very well so far! The flour comes out exactly how I wanted it for each batch, even ultrafine and fluffy. My only issue is that the grain seems to get clogged up sometimes and I have to turn off the mill to stick a butter knife in the inlet area to move the grains around and get them unstuck. It hasn’t happened every time, but about 75% of the times I’ve used it. Other than that, it’s quick, efficient, and I’m happy I bought a grain mill!

Classic Grain Mill

Perfect. I use this multiple times a week and it's super easy to use and quick to milk the flour I need. My digestion is better and I have made some of the most delicious breads and cookies from the flour milled with this machine. I've recommended it to all of my friends and family. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

I bought this 2 years ago and have never had a problem. I grind my wheat berries on average 3 times a week. Love it!

Meh

It works quickly and well, but it’s a messy mill to use. Flour is everywhere after opening the bowl and tapping out the plastic filter piece. It’s also big and ugly! I’m wanting to find something prettier and lower maintenance.

Love the mill. Worked great right away. I was surprised by two things: 1. It was louder than I expected and 2. It didn’t come with any manual or instructions at all. I had to go online to figure out how to use it.
