Wife couldn't step over tub easily so we decided to remove it and convert to a shower. . . used a local sub contractor that works weekends on the side. This is a major undertaking and not taken on lightly. Took 2 men a full day for construction,plumbing, tile and grout. Second man came to put in the doors. Took 3 hours. Total cost including material but without doors was $1500. . . . . Bought doors sight unseen using the internet and luckally they fit perfectly and are of very high quality. The secret to this brand is the 5/16 thick door glass. A slight tap and the door glides silently from side to side. It nudges the rubber stop smoothly and with a substantial overlap everything is dry outside' . . . . Well worth the price and the ordering went smoothly. The Houzz people are professional and walked me through ordering process asking all the right questions. They were a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.
