Great update to my kitchen lighting
It was difficult to install but love the finished product
Nice with some extra work
This is a decent fixture - but took a little work. I had to shorten the wires by about 6 - 8 feet, these things are made for very high ceilings. So about 24 wires I shortened and stripped and reconnected. However, the frustrating part were the screws that attach the fixture to the ceiling plate seemed too short to get the nut caps on, so I took it all down and replaced with larger screws. I can cut these down later and use the bronze wire nuts - as I am using wing nuts now. I'll also vary the cable lengths to add some geometry.
This light fixture makes the room!
It took a while to install because we had to decide on the length of each of the eight lights but it was well worth it. This lighting fixture is outstanding. They give you loads of wire so you could practically hang it from a height of 30 feet. The fixtue was sent out very fast and we had it installed within a week of purchasing it.
