The tea kettle is perfect. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It boils water for my tea. The whistle is at a low volume but it is good for me.

It’s the prettiest kettle and it drew me in. But rust started around the spout. The lid is doable but doesn’t compare to the larger lid on the Oxo kettle. I went back to Oxo and am happier.

Beautiful, but incredibly loud

Incredibly loud. I wanted a whistling tea kettle, but not this loud! It does work very, very quickly on my induction cooktop

I wanted to wait a while before writing a review…It’s been 3 months; I use this kettle every day, and I wanted to love it so much, but I can’t seem to get past the leaky spout. At first I thought I filled it too much, but it’s not that. I’m upset that I’ll have to be replacing it sooner rather than later

Bought this teakettle in red! Looks stunning on my stainless steel and black stove. This is the best teakettle I have ever owned. Pours well and very sturdy!

Exceeds Expectations

I bought this kettle after destroying my old one. The whistler on the old kettle had to be manually closed each time. I had filled it with water, then got distracted until I smelled burning plastic.

I will be returning this. The spout does not fully open without manually opening, a very unsafe thing to do given the steam! It opens at about 1/3 capacity and causes the hot water to sprue out beyond the cup. Peri gold was a pleasure to work through this.

had the first one for almost 20 years and just bought a second one identical. The design is absolutely beautiful and could easily be featured in a museum. The onyx black is a beautiful pearlized looking black. It has an excellent whistle and great practical design features. The black handle does not get hot. I made the mistake of keeping water in it too frequently and I got mineral deposits around the spout other than that it has been outstanding and I use it multiple times a week. Love it. Excellent value

If you're like me, you put the kettle on, leave the room to do an errand, and forget to return. Guaranteed that you will hear this kettle whistle in almost any room in the house, and that's just what I need. It's a stylish design and easy to pour. It is a bit heavy when fully filled, but that means it's also sturdy.

Horrible. Wouldn’t recommend anyone purchasing. Once the water boils it comes exploding out of the kettle when trying to pour. Grease easily sticks to this so it’s tough getting it to stay clean. Overall, I just wouldn’t suggest anyone buy. I’m going to buy another kettle because my husband and I are totally dissatisfied

Gorgeous red kettle! It heats water quickly, even in our high altitude. The whistle is fine, but unremarkable. I find them all to be a bit piercing. I was hoping this one would be somewhat more gentle, but it isn’t. Despite that, I 100 recommend this kettle!

Good buy

Nice red color. Whistle loud but not ear piercing! Heavy kettle but what’s great is you can open spout and touch handle without a towel. So many inferior tea kettles in all prices ranges but this is one of the best!

This is a very nice tea kettle but I just replaced it with the Le Creuset Pour Stovetop Model; I will give this one to my niece. My husband boils only enough water for one cup of tea, so this was just too large to be easy to use. For those who boil more water, it would be perfect.

Loud whistle - works well

It is performing as expected. The exterior has a nice shine. It is very attractive. I am using it on a gas stove and so far the finish is holding up. The interior is fine so far but will keep a lookout for mineral build up.

Classy looking teapot that is a definite upgrade from my old one. Very nicely packaged, no scratches. Top was a little difficult to remove due to extremely tight fit. Would be nice if handle could swivel or hinge out of the way for filling but the obstruction is a pretty minor shortcoming. Would definitely buy again.

Brushed stainless Whistling tea kettle

I love this tea kettle and this is the second one I have purchased. That showes how much I like it and it is the only one I have been able to hear from all over the house! Love the friendly yet loud sound it makes. Seller was very quick and I appreciate that. Was well packed and arrived with a scratch.
