DO NOT purchase the Sia 7242 Salon Spa Combination

Purchased the Sia 7242 Salon Spa Combination 3 years ago for our new home. The tub is leaking from one of the jets and there is no easy fix. My builder had the same problem in another home she installed the same tub in. Jacuzzi doesn't want to help at all! This spa tub cost over $4,000 and Jacuzzi will not support us at all. Stay away from Jacuzzi!

Love this tub so much we bought it twice!

We installed this tub in our first house and never regretted it. When we moved I mourned my Sia tub. After two years my husband and I decided we needed to have our tub back. I looked at other companies and models even tried out a few but nothing compaired to the Sia. Unfortunately we do not have the space for the bigger 72 inch model we had before we had to go with the smaller size. I was a little hesitant but honestly there is plenty of room for both of us, even with him being 6’5” and me at 5’10. In fact I enjoy the foot jets much more in our smaller model. Also, I’ve never noticed jets spraying everywhere and making a mess. I am thinking the reviewer who complained about there jets spraying my need to adjust the jets, the jets are fully adjustable and can be positioned in different directions as well as turned off. We are planning on building onto our house in the near future to add a bigger master bedroom and when we do without a doubt we will be adding a Sia to the new bathroom.

Wish I could have tried before purchase

I love baths, especially those with air jets. We had to replace our tub and choose the Sia based on features and positive reviews. The good aspects are the low profile and size fits my husband and I. However the negatives outweigh and I wish I hadn’t purchased. When turning on the jets the ones in the lumbar area spray all over behind your back and head. End up with a mess around the tub! And there is no way to turn them off and just enjoy the jets from the bottom (floor) of the tub. That should be an option. So I end up with a jetted tub that I rarely use because of the mess and discomfort of water spraying all around my head and out of the tub. Used to take baths several times a week, use this less than once a month. Also hate the only available overflow drain control. It feels flimsy, plastic and is too large for the sleek tub.
