[Rewarded Review] DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE AN ENGINEER
This came in about 500 pieces. Walmart contracted with Angi to get "expert" assembly. HA ! after multiple failed tries, I hired some handymen who spent about 10 hours EACH to get this assembled poorly. (Angi had allowed 2.5 hours. My house contractor laughed at that)) This is not air tight, watertight, or sturdy. The directions are unclear Parts do not fit together well. If I could take it apart and rebox it, I would absolutely send this hunk of junk back to Walmart 100% unsatisfied customer
Horrible Construction and Service
When assembling parts break. Roof vents blow off with mild wind. Door gaskets come off easily. Nothing positive. Can't return. SMH. $3400.00 down the drain. Had it less than 6 months and is useless.
Mostly satisfied
The greenhouse is mostly what I expected. Some parts feel less premium, but the overall functionality is not compromised. A good value for the price.
Reasonable price…
I am amazed at the excellent quality of this greenhouse, especially given the reasonable price. Assembly was straightforward too!
Huge disappointment with quality, manufacturing, quality control and customer service. Don't buy it!
This product has been a nightmare from the go! The base pieces were not marked and there were unclear instructions showing what size pieces go where. Actually, there were no measurements of the pieces either. We put together and took apart multiple times (first waste of time) until we figured it out. Customer service was no help. When the body of the greenhouse was unpacked we found that none of the polycarbonat panels were marked as well as some of the metal pieces. There are no measurements in the instructions so the only option was to measure each piece, separate them, count them and then call customer service to figure out what went where (hours of wasted time). Once assembly began we dealt with clips that wouldnt insert because holes were not drilled through on quite a few pieces. Clips has excess tags of plastic and had to be shaved. The peaks of the greenhouse at the roof front and back were horrible to assemble. The polycarbonate sheets were supposed to be held together with these interlocking pieces that did not interlock and when inserted into the assembled peaks fell out every time moved. The plastic pieces that formed the peak had to be heated with a hair dryer in order to get them to flex enough to be assembled, all while trying to keep the polycarbonate panels in place. Also the joint caps on the roof pop off every time the temperature changes outside and I am worried what will happen to the rest of the greenhouse with temperature changes. The polycarbonate roof panels are held in by a metal piece that grabs the bottom of the polycarbonate sheet and then is flipped up and back into a channel which locks the panel securely into place. (the instructions were not clear on how this was supposed to work--there are no explanations ) Those metal pieces were all cut 1/8 of an inch LONGER than the channel it was supposed to go into. When the company was contacted and after providing multiple photos of the pieces showing measurements of both the channel and the piece, and after lots of jumping through hoops on my part (which I truly felt were stall tactics) it was finally determined that the metal pieces were in fact cut properly, however the E2 pieces were cut TOO SHORT (E2 pieces form the walls and roof of the ENTIRE greenhouse which, i remind you we were assembling the roof, so the four walls were complete and roof frame was assembled) Canopia's solution was for me to disassemble the greenhouse and they would provide new E2s. Not only that but they would not expedite delivery because "there were other people waiting for their greenhouses". I pointed out that I too had waited and asked them to make an exception. The answer was no. I explained my concern assembling in cold weather and how it would affect the flexibility of the pieces. Didn't care. I refused to disassemble the greenhouse, and at my own expense, paid someone to cut the metal pieces to fit. This assembly experience was horrific. Unmarked pieces, no measurements, unclear instructions, lack of cooperation from Canopia customer service and an attitude that felt like "we have your money, you're on your own". Honestly, after voicing my dissatisfaction with this whole process in a gardening group or two on social media, I am finding others who have had similar asssembly issues with disastrous problems after assembly including panel blow outs, major leaks, shifting of pieces when the weather cooled or heated up among other things. Oh, Canopia also offered to take it back--If I dissassembled, repackaged, paid to ship and restock. Please do yourself a favor. If you are consider spending over $4,000 on this greenhouse, put a little more money in and purchase a different one, a wooden or metal one from another company. This greenhouse is poorly manufactured with little to no quality control, customer service is extremely lacking, and I am just praying that it actually holds together. I wish they would come take it apart, cart it away and give me a refund! Oh lastly for all the horrors of this they have offered me TWO GROW LIGHTS to make up for things. I'm afraid that with their quality control they may cause a fire so I'll pass on those. I tried to be unemotional in the telling of my experience, I am being 100% honest. Please save yourself the aggravation and expense.
quality product, terrible instructions
The greenhouse itself is well-made, but the instructions were terrible. They were hard to understand and led to multiple errors during assembly.
