Not secure or sturdy

I had high expectations for this product. The met that surrounds the frame is flimsy and ripped with only my fingers attaching a chicken feeder. Top is just a tarp. If you are looking for this to be secure then it’s not for you or make sure you purchase more fencing and wiring instead of just some zip ties to secure the fencing. Even using all the tiptoes they sent there are still significant gaps and holes that could allow animals in and out of they try.

Amazing value, simple to build, we're adapting it to build a chicken tractor for mob grazing, so the slightly larger model has given us everything we need - hoping to make a video of it when we get it up and running!

Good solid frame which was easy and quick to construct. Wire mesh is strong and flexible, but a bit fiddly to install... definitley a 2-person job when doing the roof. The only bad point is that the roof is flat and the tarpauline gathers water and sags, which I should have thought of when purchasing, however this is easily resolved with a sub-£20 tarp drain which I've ordered elsewhere. I feel a tarp drain should be included with the chicken run as if enough water builds up it will break the wire on the roof or split the cover. Other than that, a good price for a sturdy run, and keeps my chickens safe once fox-proofed.

Chinas cheap n cheerful chook run

I needed a cheap & cheerful run, as a safe place for my chooks, on a working farm. I’m in my 60’s, 5ft 4” and reasonably fit. The delivery was delayed due to usual bad communication, associated with tech, these days & dictating to a customer, when we should be heard. It took me a couple of days to put up, (in between chores) without any aid. The instructions could do with being clearer and not all the pieces had labels on but I figured it out. I’d say it was good for 8 chickens max, not 12 but who am I to judge? Does the job, looks good, will see how it fairs during winter.

Hen hut

This is overall good.. but just a few negative points.. some of the metal poles were labelled wrong.. which very annoyingly meant having to undo what I had done and work out what went where?.. and when it rains the flat top of the canopy fills with water so you have to go in and push it out.. but so far my hens seem to like it…🙂

Chicken runs was not that hard to put together. The tie wraps kept breaking so I decided to use wire to secure the fencing. Would recommend this product!!👍👍

Useless instructions and pieces missing

Ware und Verpackung sehr gut. Aufbauanleitung in Ordnung. Aufbau geht durch Stecksystem relativ rasch. Der Maschendraht ist etwas unhandlich und muss zugeschnitten werden

Great frame. But let down by the very poor door latch and somewhat by the roll of wire mesh.

Great run for my chickens

This chicken run is easy to put together. I'm a small female and was able to assemble it by myself. All the pieces went together just fine. The box arrived a bit mangled but everything was inside and nothing was damaged. This is the 2nd chicken run of this model I have purchased and set up. I only took away 1 star because the tarp is so thin. I live in a windy area and the wind tears up the tarp quickly. I also wish I was able to purchase a replacement tarp individually but can not, unfortunately.

got this coop to keep animals out instead of in. gardening season hasn't started yet, but i want to leave a note on how great the quality is and super easy assembly! cant wait to finish up and start planting!
