Game Changer!

Just purchased and received this for our two cats and we love it! It’s VERY quiet and SO easy to out together; looks great; they like it. The game changer is that almost all of the parts are dishwasher safe! Wow!! What a time-saver! Like it so much I just bought our second.

We like the ceramic better than metal. Nice to be able to throw it in the dishwasher. It took a day for Prince Willy to get used to it but he's drinking more water more frequently which was the objective. We've seen the pump on other devices and feel that's a plus. I've cleaned it twice, no problems.

Why did they change the fountain to this ?

I was an avid fan of the water fountain this company offered before this one. I was moving and ordered a new fountain to have at new place. This new fountain is much smaller than the prior fountain that is of the same design. I had the extra 2 types of filters on hand already and was happy they were of use in the new fountain.

Pump stopped working

The pump stopped working after 3 months.

Accumulated a lot of gunk in the filter. Even with consistent maintenance, I had to replace the motor 3 times in 2 years. Finally threw it away, not worth it for me.

Love - Nearly Silent

This is the quietest fountain I've had (I've tried a lot). Its only audible when the water level is low - which is nice because it's a reminder to fill it. But even then it's not very loud. Like all fountains, the pump is a pain to clean, but the rest just goes in the dishwasher. All the cats seem to like it.

Pump failed after 4 months

I liked the size of this fountain, the heavy ceramic, and the quiet pump. Unfortunately, the pump abruptly stopped working after just 4 months. I would expect this type of product to last a minimum of a year, especially with regular cleanings.

Expect to clean it every 2 days

This is my fourth fountain attempt, but second one from Chewy. My cat loves this fountain, and it is silent. However, I have only had it set up for 2 weeks, and have already gone through 2 charcoal filters. They are awful no matter how much you rinse. They leave residue all over the fountain. The really unpleasant thing is how slimy this fountain gets after 2 days. I mean SLIMY. I have noticed others with the same issue. Some think it’s the charcoal filters causing the problem, so I am going to try without them. I am using filtered water to begin with. I have noticed after about a week the charcoal filters almost look moldy. At any rate, know that if you want your pet to be drinking clean water you will have to clean the entire fountain every 2 days.

Upgraded water bowl

Love this water bowl! So does our dog! The water stays fresher longer and we top it off with our filtered pitcher. It runs so quietly, you have to be right next to it to hear it. It’s also quite pretty, moreso than the steel ones we were also looking at. Easy to put together, came with good instructions. I’m so happy we have this fancy bowl!

too often needed cleaning, difficult to clean, expensive to replace filters and other parts...I gave it away after 1 year.
