Had my first smoke the day I purchased the smoker. Everything came out great! Looking forward to more.

Element not working

Can’t get any response from customer service. The number says too many people calling right now and just hung up on me

I did the initial burn off today. I set the cook time for 1 hour. After the hour was up, the unit continued to heat up. I was waiting to wipe it out, but it was continually hot. I ended up having to unplug it to make it stop heating. I am doing my first cook tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. I may need to call customer service.

More spare screws

Don’t buy it

Won’t work…. Ba’s heating element- at least that’s what the Pit Boss phone service rep thinks it is.. they should just replace the item and they can figure it out… sending us a new element but not a new smoker

Wouldnt work...

Wouldn't work on start up... After calling service number they think its a Problem with the temperature probe and are supposed to send a new probe. So far a waste of well over $300.00

Smoker doesn’t maintain temperature as described!

This is how I received my smoker. Box and packaging were not damaged or my husband would never have opened the box. We did use it and the ribs were fantastic but it did leak smoke through the top of the door because it did not seal correctly.

Garbage. 2nd time I've purchased a PitBoss.

The handle that attaches to the door is bent. Since it is bent, I cannot latch it properly (at all, it doesn't even reach).

Nice looking product did already smoke on it once it was trial and error but next time we know what to do

Would not stay powered.

I had to return 2 different units because both would not stay powered. Ran for a few minutes and shut off. Tried 5 different outlets. No breakers were tripped. Concluded that the circuit board may have a malfunction. Buying a different brand.

Damaged in shipping

Opened the box and the smoker was non-functional due to damage to the fan shroud and assembly. I will reach out for help today

New Pit Boss

Just got it assembled yesterday; All went well except the door handle was all scratched up w/ the paint off. Going to call for a new one (handle)

Will not reach turnoff temp

Received this as a gift on Sept 4, 2024 and today is Sept 6, 2024. The smoker has not been able to reach the burnoff temp while attempting to work with it for 2 days. I now have 3lbs of wild caught king salmon thawed with the hopes this smoker worked. Guess I will have to use the trusted Napoleon grill and have grilled salmon. Thanks Pit Boss for nothing.
