We love the quality and allure of Kohler brushed nickel fixtures in our new walk-in shower. Classy and built to last.

Attractive but wobbly

It looks great and functions well, however, it wobbles. We’ve tried everything to make secure but the best conclusion is that it is a design flaw.

Disappointing

Brand new condo the diverter button fell out because the screws loosened. you have to take the whole thing apart to put the button back on and tighten the screws. Trouble is I can get the collar off to remove the faceplate. Very poor design. I’m on the strata council 92 units have this set up

Handle falls off - DO NOT BUY

I wish I had read the existing reviews before I purchased this terrible product. The handle falls off continuously, and Kohler customer service had me diagnose the specific parts that I needed replaced, as if I were a professional plumber.

Shower lever falls off after minimal use

Same issue as others. It's beautiful BUT not durable. My shower lever handle is in a guest bath with very minimal use. Handles falls off and has damaged the tub finish. Additionally my Purist shower head has also loosed from the shower trim and sprays water on the ceiling during a shower. I don't understand why this quality is poor from a line with a reputation for durability and style. I've had 2 plumbers come out and replaced the hardware 2 times and the problem recurs.

Get a Second Opinion before trusting the sales rep

Gave dimensions and pictures of project. Was told this would be a perfect fit. It is not so I was told I needed to purchase an "add-on" piece. This did not work. Now I have to have tile work done and pay for an extra visit. A small project has turned into a multi-step and multi expense project.

Missing "Adapter"

Installing with K8304 valve REQUIRES a separate adapter (1225235 adapter kit), which is not in the documentation or referred to in installation instructions. Plumber ruined faucet sleeve because of it, I've spent hours looking for parts and answers.

Bathroom Fixtures

This is long overdue, but then my bathroom remodel took much longer than expected. I’m loving all the Kohler fixtures that Raquel helped me select. Thank you so much Raquel for helping me make these decisions so that everything came together perfectly. Very pleased with the results!!

Terrible product

I bought the brushed brass finish which was more expensive than the regular and couldn’t use it for even one day! The little push cylinder does not stay in and it falls off. The Kohler sales person did not even give a heads up about this issue. Read reviews before you buy.

Broke after 13 months

Same issue as everyone else, the handle has come loose and wobbles around. Spending $400 for 1 year of use is insane. This is beyond frustrating!!

Loose handle

We have had this for a couple of years, and the handle is loose. Tightened the set screw, but didn’t fix the problem. It seems loose behind the handle, but it doesn’t seem to pull off very easy, and I am concerned about breaking it. Is there a certain way to pull off the handle so that I can access the screw behind it and tighten it?

Missing parts - Kohler didn’t care

We bought nearly $4,000 in Kohler products for our bathroom remodel. This faucet was missing the stem extensions, so the faucet couldn’t be hooked up. We went back to the store we bought it from and they opened two more faucets and they were also missing the stem extensions. I called Kohler and explained the problem and was told it would take 9-12 days to get the parts. When they arrived, they were the wrong parts. What a fiasco.

No issues with mine, so far

I was concerned with some of the other reviews about the handle falling off and the trim plate being flimsy. My polished chrome unit feels solid and looks beautiful after over a month of use.
