Progress Flush Mount Light
I put the light in my laundry room and the room is much brighter.
It looks wonderful in the ceiling of my 1917-built home bathroom. It turns out, the lighting fixture there since 1917 dropped down from the ceiling roughly 8 inches, and my very tall son had to avoid hitting his head on it. I never knew! This 3.75" height fixture is perfect.
BUT!!! It only takes 60 Watt bulbs, not 75!!!
It actually hasn't been installed yet, as I'm waiting on the electrician. But, in HUGE letters and numbers, it clearly says to install 2 60 watts, as anything stronger creates a fire hazard. Home Depot, please fix this on your website!

Great light, terrible mounting bracket
I loved the light itself, but the universal mounting bracket made it a nightmare to mount correctly. Using the supplied bracket required mounting and dismounting the light to figure out the correct screw lengths and then having to shorten the supplied screws to make it work. None of the paperwork indicated this would be required, got lucky and found a youtube video that told me. Will not by this brand of lighting again

The opal etched glass which made it unique and why I had originally purchased it, was replaced by a plain white glass. I was looking for an exact replacement for the original glass which I cracked. I sent it back.

Although these match, in design and shape, an existing fixture...
Although these match, in design and shape, an existing fixture in my home, the glass isn’t the same. I wanted the glass with the marble like swirls in it. The glass for these is plain.
The company cheapened the glass from 3 years ago!!
Glass fixture different from 3 years ago. I purchased 4 of these for my former home. The glass fixture use to be a pretty white two tone opaque swirl. We moved into this house and I went back to get more. They are now a cheap and thin white frosted glass fixture. Just like everything else……cheapen the product and UP the price tag!!!!
Specs AND Description BOTH say 75 Watts
As stated in my title!!!! This is why I bought TWO of them 4 of them for closets. Its disturbing that Lowes doesnt care enough to change the information on their website. They only hold (2) 60 watt bulbs!!!

The fixture is bright and fills the hallway. It looks like described. The fixture does NOT mount flush with the ceiling and leaves an odd gap to show insulation and wiring. We’ve had three different guys look at it, it just doesn’t mount properly.

Inferior product
I guess they don't inspect these light fixtures, before they package them. My electrician put my light fixture up, and when he went to put the glass dome on, it was bigger than the frame.
The glass portion of this light is extremely thin and delicate. When removing from the packaging, I lightly touched my counter and that was enough to break the glass on the corner of the light, so be aware that the glass is paper thin.
Galas is not etched. I expected it to match...
