Plumbers hated installing, Always spotted even right after cleaning

These are really horrible. The contractors very experienced plumber complained about them. The handles are wobbly. Water gets under them and then drains out on the counter. Nickel is constantly spotted. They are beautiful but horrible. Sad I put them in our hall bath.

Faucet dribbles water on the counter

This attractive faucet works great when the water is turned "all the way on". If I lessen the volume of water, it deposits all of the water on the counter. Also happens if someone doesn't turn the water all the way off.

Its Perfect

I needed a new bathroom faucet for a total bathroom remodel. Once I saw the faucet I knew it was perfect. Clean lines and simple in design.

American Standard faucet

I love the look of this faucet but in reality it was not the best choice for us. The combination of the placement of the sink holes (Koehler under mount) with the limited projection of the faucet means if you turn it on very lightly, the water trickles right onto the counter and not into the basin. Also the handles are a bit more wobbly then I would like. I had my contractor double check them and they are as tight as he can make them. For the price point I expected a little better.

The faucet is beautiful, but we could not install it properly. The handles would not tighten fully. We ordered replacement seal washers from American Standard, but it still would not work. Very disappointed.

The first thing my plumber said was “oh you have a high quality faucet here.” He said he often sees people buying cheap fixtures that don’t last. I made that mistake in my last house and those faucets were constantly falling apart. Why try to save a little money and sacrifice quality on something you will use every day for years? This is a high quality, beautiful fixture that goes with any decor.
