Mid-century modern glam
This chandelier added sparkle and glam to my living room! Works well with high ceilings.
First Impression
This LED 48” lighting system fits elegantly in the foyer of our home and it does so perfectly. Appearance wise this product exceeded our expectations on so many wonderful levels.
Gorgeous!
We bought two of these for our living room. The ceilings are quite high, so we needed a light fixture with some drama. The 20-light Lody certainly fit the bill. It has mid-century modern styling, but with updated, energy efficient LED bulbs. It is a show-stopper. We absolutely love it. Even though the fixture is quite large, it is extremely light, which makes hoisting it up a ladder (somewhat) easier. The only downside is that, unlike say a ceiling fan, where you mount the canopy to the ceiling and then attach the heavy part (the fan itself) to the canopy with a ball/socket set up, with this light you have to assemble it BEFORE you mount the canopy to the ceiling plate. Which means installation is really a two-person job: one person to hold the weight of the lamp while the other person clamps the canopy onto the ceiling plate and screws in the hardware. I also recommend renting some scaffolding versus using two ladders because of the width of the fixture -- it would be very difficult to keep the light's arms clear of the ladder, without leaning out so far that the ladder falls over. If you're hanging this over a dining table, and it's not that far off the floor, a ladder would probably be fine.
LOVE IT!
Love it! This was an awesome find. I just finish building my house and it looks amazing. As a design professional I can be very picky. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars it's because you can't choose the color temperature. I always prefer 2700K, specially for a living room. It definitely looks more expensive than it is.
