Like this light

I love the look of this light. It completes the built in home office that we recently added. It worked great, the only thing is the bottom of the shade is not glass but clear thin plastic not even a thick acrylic.

We both Love this replacement for our 35 year old similar unit…Better design and construction overall, thoughtfully designed exceptfor the controller rod being totally smooth…it becomes hot as well astoo smooth to grasp to change intensity…looks cool but would be much easier to control if surface was knurled…Still are very pleased!

Great quality lamp

I am very pleased with the lamp. It is very high quality. I had someone stall it and it Works beautifully . The bulb can be replaced which is very important. Many of the new lamps this is not possible

Beautiful, 60 watt bulb, and dimmable

This lamp is a rare find -- a reading lamp that has a dimming knob on the lamp head itself. No need to install a dimming switch on the wall. Gives a strong reading light, but also dims down to a beautiful atmospheric low light as well. We mounted it on either side of our headboard and love the look and functionality of it. Nice practical piece

It goes really well with our Pottery Barn Sumatra bed- I highly recommend it for in bed readers. It can be also turned up in case you just need an ambient light. ease of use, easy to assemble no cons -just have to install it in a way that you do not hit your head -it has sharp corners

Nice functional lamps

As notwed, solid look and feel, works perfectly as a reading lamp and looks great over the headboard. Overall I would recommend, points off for the dimmer knob falling off. Nice weight and scale: this is definitely a higher quality item than can be prchased at Home Depot or Lowes. The movement is smooth, and it has nice weight. The dimmer know on one of the lamps fell off immediately, even before it was installed. The dimmer still works, bit it's a little plascic nub instead of the nice bronze peg.
