The sconce is gorgeous and I'm very happy with it, minus one detail, which Home Depot customer service addressed for me. The description indicates that the shade is white. I was looking for something less than 4" wide and with a bright white shade. The display photo showed the sconce with a white shade and the description listed it as a white shade. But in reality, it is more of an ivory or "off-white" so something to know if you truly want WHITE. I called the customer service and ask if I could get the shade in white, but they do not have these shades in white. However, they did give me a credit and I had purchased three, so it was enough to purchase replacement shades in white; and I felt like this was fair (because I had searched for a long time for a sconce not wider than 4" with a white shade). The sconce itself is dimmable and it is beautiful. Mine has been installed for about a month and I love them. I highly recommend!

This light is very nice, a modern, sleek design, with a unique, classy style all it's own. It's construction is strong metal, built to last, and it is complimented by a satiny brass finish, just beautiful; it looks perfectly crafted! The globes are white opal glass. The end of each globe is open for easy installation of a bulb. A bulb goes on each end; it takes 2 bulbs. A regular sized bulb will NOT fit, you will need a smaller, candelier bulb, the bulbs that looks like a lit candle, also available in LED; these have a smaller base than a regular sized bulb. This fixture can be mounted horizontally or vertically, whichever best meets your needs; you choose!
