This is a very convenient table top gas grill. Fed by an Lp tank. Adequate cooking surface for a small family. It has a clear view of the cooking grids and is very easy to ignite. Made of stainless steel and solid construction. Has an internal temperature gauge and easy to clean tray that catches grease and bits of the cooking product.

[Rewarded Review] Monument Propane Portable Grill

Monument Propane Portable Grill was well packaged with clear instructions and all parts were present. Some minor assembly required. You just need a Phillips head screw driver to install the feet. Very well built. The lid actually latches in place. Has built-in temperature gauge. Light enough to take to the park. The heavy part would be the LP tank which I suppose you could get a small one just for the grill. Overall a very functional portable grill.

[Rewarded Review] Monument G22 Clearview Grill

This review is for the Monument Grills G22 Clearview Portable LP Grill. Appearance is very good as it is a sharp-looking unit with stainless top, front, and interior. It easily fits on a tabletop, as I was able to use it on my small pub table on my deck. I was initially concerned about heat on the table surface, but while the grill is operating, it stays quite cool underneath.

[Rewarded Review] Nice compact/portable grill, with plenty of heat!

This is the perfect size grill for BBQ-ing on a camping trip. It is smaller than some of the other grills, that take a fair amount of space with their stands and such, but it is more than adequate for just about any small/medium size grilling job. It has about 200 sq inches of surface area, and the lid has plenty of height to accommodate larger sized chickens or roasts. The view glass (with integrated thermometer) is a great feature that allows you to not have to keep opening it (and letting out the heat) to check on how the cooking is progressing.

Great little grill!

I’ve had this grill for several weeks now and I gotta say, it’s great! Easy to assemble (almost no assembly required), easy to operate, performs great and best of all, it’s mobile! I can easily put it away when I don’t need it, or throw it in the back of my truck or even place it in the trunk of our car and take it on the road. It’s really given us the option to take the grilling beyond the back patio and to the parks, camping or even little day trips, which is why I wanted this grill in the first place. It’s so mobile, I even joked with my work, don’t be surprised if you walk in and see me grilling some burgers in the break room! Lol Over all, very satisfied.

very nice grill

Wanted a small grill to go on a small back slider deck. I liked the Glass and the thermometer. Also being able to use both a 20 lb. and a 1 lb. propane tank is great. I use the 1 lb. tank since I cook for one. Able to get a good sear with an uncovered burner and then move over for slower cooking. Very happy with cooking.

slightly challenging to assemble

The grill is great however the assembly directions are unclear in multiple places. Diagrams need to be enlarged and more specific. Being knowledgeable and skilled with these types of equipment assemblies was valuable and allowed us to figure out how to put the grill together. Two people was truly needed at different steps. The securing of the wires needs to be improved. Despite these critiques I would buy it again as performance has been good. We have used it for a month so we do not know how well it will last and hold up.

We bought this table top grill for our travel trailer, and so far, it has been the best grill we have ever had - including our regular grill on our patio at home.

Granddaddy of gas grills

This Monuments Grills propane grill is a beast. The grill is very solidly built with a nice viewing window so you can avoid lifting the lid unnecessarily. Food cooks very evenly and the large cooking area lets you manage everything for a larger group. Although this is listed as portable, this is kind of like military portable - anything with a handle; this is a 24-pound grill. The grates on this grill are porcelain-coated cast iron even though the listing kind of makes it seem like they are stainless steel.

This came very well boxed & protected. Inside the main grill was covered with a plastic bag, there were cardboard edgings inside the grill’s cover to keep the parts (like shelves) separated and undamaged, and then there was a thick user guide inside the box. Also included are 4 “feet” you easily screw into their holes on the bottom — these help keep the grill stable on your surface & slightly raised up.

For once, a grill that CAN get too hot!

Assembly in 1.5 hours - it helped to have my wife read the manual and give me steps so I could just assemble while she figured out what went where.

Best value in a top-end grill

This is one of the best engineered and manufactured grills I have had the pleasure of using in 60 years! It puts the Weber Gneiss II to shame with more features and at about half the price. It comes in a 34" cube, double wall, cardboard carton and must be assembled from the ground up. This is not difficult because the main and side burner units are pre-assembled. The whole grill can be put together in a couple of hours using just a Philips screwdriver. The instructions are good and all the parts mate perfectly. I purchased the smoker box and rotisserie accessories at the same time, and glad I did. I have had the grill for 3 weeks and so far have seared a couple of rib eye steaks, smoke-roasted a pair of Cornish game hens on the rotisserie, and baked a fresh pizza at 650 degrees.

Best Value I Could Find

I spent a considerable amount of time researching grills (on the internet and in person) before deciding on this one. I am a Mechanical Engineer so go figure. So far it has surpassed all the high expectations that I had set for the search. Biggest drawback I could find was that this was one of the few grills that is only available on line which could have been a gamble. I resolved that issue by purchasing it through Home Depot. I actually enjoyed assembling and it went together flawlessly but would not recommend assembling if you are not somewhat mechanically inclined. The heat this grill puts out is remarkable. Still undecided if the searing option is even required since the grill gets hot enough sear. I thought the back lit knobs was a little gimmicky but I have changed my mind now that I have used it. Wish the grilling area was also lit. Have not figured a use for the USB port yet.
