A hot rock would give you a better cooking surface

The beauty of a cast iron skillet is that once it is well seasoned it pretty much becomes non-stick. That will NEVER happen with this skillet. The bottom is rough. I mean rough rough. 30 grit sandpaper rough. All the seasoning in the world is not going to help this skillet become non-stick. This thing is gonna stick like duct tape. This was ordered online and if I had seen it in a store it would have stayed on the shelf. I have never seen a cast iron skillet that was smooth on the bottom...and at 63 years old I've seen a lot of cast iron skillets. This thing is a pointless piece of garbage.

Great for the price

Got it as a starter cast iron pan have had it for a couple weeks and I have tried to cook just about everything in it that I can. Easy to clean and take care of.

This is a 10 inch pan, Not 10.5 inch.

heavy but works

we had a 12" skillet which was bulky, heavy and almost felt too big. the 10.5 while only alightly smaller is really nice size to compliment the stovetop.

Great , Affordable cast iron

For the price, it does it’s thing. This was my first cast iron so I don’t have anything to compare it to, nor have I had a negative experience with it. It was easy to season, and food made with my cast iron has an extra kick to it. Great product.

Works great, like it’s supposed to

I’ve used it nearly every day since I bought it and it works perfectly. I love that it’s preseasoned but I did a little bit more just because I wanted to.

I needed a smaller cast iron pan and this one works just fine. Nice quality and easy cleaning after use.

Great value and well made. Just be sure to season it properly the first time as it’s not seasoned from the factory. Goto the lodge site and it will tell you how to season it easily.

Great for camping and fishing!

These cast iron pans have worked out for what I need them for. I purchased them as my dedicated camping set. The only thing I have noticed is the handles are a tad bit short. When you compare them to a more expensive brand you'll notice they are a little thinner but does not affect anything or the function. So over all they work for me. And about half price from the more expensive brands.

Its okay for beginners

Product is fine. Nothing amazing. Maybe I do not like cast iron as much as I thouggt. It works but it requires extra knowledge i need to figure it out. Will still use from time to time. I know this isnt high quality. Its a good starter for someone experimenting with cooking with cast iron.
