This is very small. Reconsider going to at least a 40 inch for a stand up shower if possible. No room for an average size male teenager to move around in. We are taking it out and going bigger.

Shower doors arrived totally shattered. They sent a replacement and that was only the base again. We are still without the doors. Project is totally stalled.

It has been extremely frustrating dealing with Wayfair on this order. I had originally placed it on Feb 28 and was finally going to receive it April 18. They have not been able to give clear updates on why this item was delayed. It took almost 2 months to receive this item and the only answer Wayfair had was that they were not able to get in touch with the vendor for an update. They could not get a response. That was all they had to say. Why would they list an item from a vendor that does not respond and does not ship out items? That doesn't make any sense. Once we re-ordered and was able to get a clear delivery date, only half of the order arrived. Wayfair still has not found the other half and cannot tell me where the missing item is. The further delay with no clear answer has been frustrating. I feel that their customer service has not been very helpful.

If I could give the weekend Wayfair Reps a minus star, that would be generous. We needed this shower by the end of the year and ordered it on 1220 with noticed of delivery set for 1226. We were worried when the status showed it was delivered when it never arrived. I spoke to Janet on 1227 who located the item in their New Jersey warehouse as it was sent there by mistake and promise to have it delivered to us by 1229. She asked me to call back if I do not get the delivery so that they could track it. Nothing came so I called on the 1227 and the service was disappointing.

I wish I could tell you what I think, however first it broke during shipping. A new shower enclosure was then sent, but then only the base arrived. The glass enclosure part is MIA. I contacted Wayfair but nobody knows where it is. So now, more than a month later, I have only a bottom part of my shower...

Albeit I under measured and shouldve gotten a larger sized shower but I think it still works... And not at all claustrophobic as initially imagined. But the bathroom still looks beautiful and the shower door are the right amount of frosted to not feel completely exposed. I love them. Next time I will measure a little better to get it bigger... But that is of no fault from the doors. They are great.

Don't waste your money on the kit

The shower frame and exterior glass are wonderful, however the backwall was warped and did not lay flat against the wall during installation. We ended up throwing the backwall away and purchasing tile for installation. Do not purchase the full kit. Purchase the shower frame and exterior only.

OK Product

The project turned out nice, but there were a few snags along the way. The shower base and door assembly were ok, but the walls were very thin. Make sure your walls are perfectly smooth and level before trying to put up the walls. Because they are so thin, and just attached with adhesive (except for the corner where they meet, it was not easy to get them to stay in place. Even after applying quite a bit of adhesive, they tended to sag and bow before the adhesive could dry. To avoid standing in the shower and holding the walls up for a couple of hours, I ended up rigging things to lean against the walls to hold them in place while drying (not pretty, but it worked). Also, the walls, only had glue-on finishing strips, and only for the sides - nothing for the top. The door assembly is ok, but you will probably need to apply silicone caulk to the joint created by the nesting end posts after they are secure - you'll see what I mean if you get the door.

Do Your Homework

I bought this Dreamline shower kit after a lot of on-line evaluation of other products, both less and more expensive. I am an experienced DIY'er, and one thing I know to be true is that when you can't see and touch the actual product, you can never be certain what you're getting until after the product is installed and in use. Many of the negative comments about this shower kit are valid, and I empathize with the consumers who don't feel that they got what they were expecting.

This unit has been great for us. Installed without a hitch and after making sure to properly silicone caulk where needed, no leaks or spray of water has been encountered outside the unit. The functionality of the shower unit is just exactly what I had hoped for and the outward appearance is really nice in our guest bath. We have experienced no problems with the doors or anything else after intensive use over a period of 3 months while master bath is being extensively remodeled.

This unit is not worth what it costs! Very cheaply made. The plastic back wall is 1/8" thick, very thin. The doors are cheaply built and with no tension at all, opening/closing them they get off track and have to be reinstalled each time. All these problems only revealed after the unit was installed, so not sure if any recourse can be had for returning this poor quality shower unit. It looks nice, but that is the only positive comment that can be made about this unit. I would like to return it and get a full refund. DO NOT PURCHASE!

It was not easy for my "professional installer" he had been installing bath fixtures for 20years and he had issues with the base to wall and center connector for the panels. Its installed and was function and looking perfect. I have owned it for 11 months, installed only 8 months but with daily use the rollers on the bottom of the glass door fell off. so now it hangs by the two upper rollers and hold to the track with only one roller. I sent them a request to fix the roller but there answer was you are already 30days past your warranty. in the description it states deceptively "Warranty Description Shower Backwalls: Limited 1 (one) year manufacturer warranty" I guess once the other roller fails I will have to buy another unit?

We had an issue regarding the shower enclose. Missing was the wall profile and glass profile. I called and within two days that was shipped directly to my house, great response. The instructions for the installations of the shower base and the QWALL was excellent and I had no problems. The shower enclosure was a bit more complex. I needed to read and re-read this several times before my attempt at putting it together. It required two people to do so. Overall it came out well. The biggest complaint is with the doors and magnetic strips. I adjusted these several / many times to have it shut completely. It requires considerable effort when taking a shower to do so.

Bought this unit in November of 2017. We had it professionally installed in Jan.2018 in our lake house but wasn't used until April 2018. After a handful of showers and daily wipe downs we noticed water streaks on the interior frosted glass doors and sides. Using a soft cloth and vinegar to work the soap/hard water stains I was baffled by the lack of change in the surface of the doors. It looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned. I was hesitant to use anything else on it so I called Dreamline.

This is by no mean inexpensive, but it is much sturdier than the similar cheaper products. It looks particularly nice, and by using an overhead rain shower and not putting extra fixtures or shelves inside it feels much more spacious. I am only five ten, and I wouldn't be .comfortable in anything smaller - the corner arrangement and glass doors make it feel much more open than the other enclosures I have used. Daily Shower on the diamond pattern fiberglass interior seems to be keeping it clean, and as long as you don't mind holding the squeegee sideways the doors are quick to wash.

This shower has false advertisement in it. When I ordered the shower I thought I was getting wall units that were direct to stud. That is not the case. The walls are glue on. I already had the floor in place when I opened the walls and found they were extremely cheap. I was extremely disappointed. I purposely did not buy others like it because they were the cheap glue on walls. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was the base and glass doors seem to be good quality.

The shower base, Qwalls, and door assembly were easy to install and the finished product is elegant and functional. It took myself with some help from my wife and daughter about 2 hours to fully install the walls and door unit. I find the 38" x 38" to be a great overall size and it fit perfectly int the space that we had available. I would recommend a rainfall shower head in order to keep the water from spraying at the door opening, a purchase I quickly realized I have to make. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have seen some better caulking edges to follow, it was easy to make a mess with the silicone as there is not very well defined edges to track along, still with a little mineral spirits it cleaned up nicely. All in all this is a great shower kit for the price.
