VERY DISAPPOINTED. Purchased in May just installed...packaged poorly...shipped like it was just slammed together. One side glass is higher than the other....the hinge side of the door leaks profusely. Beware! Big price that does not deliver. I am contacting company but based on the shipping not expecting any help. Bought a competitor's unit for a different shower and it works flawlessly. BTW...I had a professional install the Dreamline.

Very nice looking shower door set. This is a two person job. Hanging the shower door was a bit frustrating, you must use all the seals with the door otherwise it will slide down. Other piece of wisdom, hand tighten all the screws, a drill is too strong and will strip the screws. Good luck
Do not purchase
This is my first time ever writing a review but I felt like I needed to so no one else goes through this hassle. I purchased this shower enclosure and had it professionally installed but it did not fit properly. The door was about a half inch too wide for the door opening and the door hinges were not level, which made the door crooked. The door measured 24 inches wide but according to the dimensions it should have been 23.5 inches. I contacted Lowe’s who then emailed dreamline. Dreamline did not respond to Lowe’s nor could I get through via phone. I waited on hold several times but never actually talked to a person. I eventually returned the product after a couple months of waiting for replies but now I have holes from removing the shower door in my new $1300 onyx collection shower base and walls. As you can expect, I am not pleased and no one is fixing this issue so I have to live with the holes.
Stay away!
What a bad deal. I got the shower enclosure on Houzz without a warning of the size difference between the enclosure and the pan. For a pan size 38x38 you need an enclosure size 36x36. Don't match the two items according to identical sizes. After I returned and ordered the matching pan my very skilled contractor installed the shower enclosure. It leaks badly. From the walls, from the door, from the hinges. I am now trying to get help from customer service and am getting the runaround both from Build.com and from DreamLine. There are AntiWater Strips in the Accessory tab in the DreamLine site but nobody will give you a constructive answer or knowledgeable advice.
Yes, a home builder can do this!
Every review about this shower led me to believe that it was too difficult to do as a DIY project, but since I have done just about every other type of home building project, I figured that I could do it. As long as you follow the directions completely, install the tile perfectly square, plumb, and level, and take your time, you can do it too! The shower turned out to be stunning, and I am very proud of this enclosure. The manufacturer answered a few questions along the way, and always sounded more than happy to help.
Pretty, strong, but lacking basic design around the seals...
I purchased this shower in August. My contractor complained that it was difficult to install and align. I initially thought he was exaggerating. When I tried the shower, water leaked all over the floor around it. Being an engineer, I searched for the cause. The water was pouring out around the hinges. I read the (quite lacking) instructions again thinking that my contractor did something wrong, but found nothing obvious about how to properly seal the hinges. After trying some adjustments, I contracted Dreamline customer support, who were very nice. They requested photos and consulted their engineers. They sent back photos and explanations which were different from the enclosed instructions. They also mailed me some additional parts which were not included in the original package or mentioned in the instuctions.
Great Kit
Every internet shopper's nightmare. When we opened the box one of the three doors was a shattered pile of glass. Overstock customer service was awesome. They addressed the problem immediately. Just asked for a picture to confirm the damage. They immediately shipped a replacement set of doors. They were wonderful and a pleasure to work with. The bathroom is gorgeous. By the way, the door comes with a matching shower pan, which I would recommend to insure a perfect fit. The brace bars at the top of the shower sort of killed the clean all glass look; so we left one off and shortened the other. Does not affect the stability at all at looks much more sleek.
