Wall panels are flimsy and were delivered damaged.

The walls are 1/8" thick and extremely flimsy. These cannot be attached directly to studs as advertised. You must install wallboard on the studs, then seal the wall board, and then install the Dreamline shower walls on top of the walls. This product is more of a "wall covering", not an actual shower wall. This product was delivered on a pallet but overhung the pallet on one end; arrived damaged. I am still awaiting a replacement, Awaiting response to multiple requests. Hence this review.

Disappointing

Walls are very thin and flimsy. I paid a very similar price for a larger shower kit that was much better quality. I would have returned this had it not been for the schedule of the installer. Terrible.

Shower arrived with cracks on 2 walls, more like chips on the bottom, decent size chips. Home Depot would not ship new walls and we ordered a new one, and now it is back ordered. So dissatisfied. We can't get the right help, false promises on a new order to be expedited and now an email saying the new one is backordered.

It showed up destroyed and I was I told I would have to bring it back to the store myself and ask for it to be replaced. Another 3 weeks without a shower.

The look was sufficient 36x36 is a large size shower and hard to find . It did come with some damage. 3-4 inch scratches out of the box but due to construction timeline , we used it anyways .. I felt price was too high for this .

The shower was easy to install. It is a good idea to use lots of glue on the side panels and brace the panels overnight for tight sturdy walls. Not a bad product at all. If you are on a budget I highly recommend !! Shower base is very solid just make sure you use mortar underneath !

It's perfect

Exactly as described. Needed something nice to fit into a tiny space and this was perfect.

Flimsy sides

sides were flimsy and the plumber didn't think we would be happy with it...

Took a little time to get the shower, but it is great looking in my new bathroom.

Overpriced

The base is very nice looking and solid. The walls, however, are flimsy and disappointing. I installed these walls over sealed cement board screwed to a stud wall. Using silicone sealant according to the instructions is not enough to hold the walls up. Any bow or warp in the walls is there to stay as you can’t hold it in place while the adhesive dries unless you want to stay in one place for 24 hours. For over $600 this was not worth it.

It would be really helpful if the manufacturer of these listed what frame sizes worked with what base size, and if they were all available for purchase individually. Why? Because we wanted the black base, but weren't able to buy the black base with the white walls, or the frame less glass with the black base and the white walls, the combination options were just poorly laid out, and it could be more clear on what size base works with what size frame. Like say this is a model B base, works with a model B frame, etc. It doesn't have to be complicated, but it should be something that makes sense to anyone reading it.
