Pretty dinged up

We had this unit shipped to our home. It arrived with quite a bit of damage. Fortunately most of the dings and scrapes are on the exterior and won’t show once installed.

I didn’t know it required special “guts” … which are very expensive, do for now it’s a plant house. Also I painted the inside because the original color wasn’t nice.

I really like the firebox, the brick look is so beautiful it looks like it's real. I've only had it for two weeks now, but everyone that's been here always compliments about it and how pretty it is.

Came with nothing to mount the fireplace to the studs, called manufacture, they agree that there should have been something to mount the firebox, verified there was nothing that came with it, was going to discuss with engineers and get back to me on what was needed and was going to ship me something, well that never happened. Almost returned it but already studded out and cut drywall hole for the firebox... Ended up using plummers tape to keep it from moving! Save your self some greef. Buy something different!

Good solid construction, there are a couple of marks on the “brick inlay”. Once we figure out how to punch in a vent hole for the log insert we will be good.

Didn’t come with all the accessories. My contractor hooked it up and said you need more stuff for it to work. Why wouldn’t you sell everything together? I know, it’s easier to install it then go buy the extra pieces then take it out of where it’s mounted and take it back to the store. SMH.

Really surprised how nice it is with the price but...

Really surprised how nice it is with the price but not very impressed with the fake brick as it says because it’s actually the thin metal like the inside of the stove. Overall I’m satisfied with the insert for the price. Not using it yet but can’t wait to get it all set up for this winter!
