Works Like a Charm!

This Moen 26112SRN Engage Magnetix Six-Function 5.5-Inch Handheld Showerhead with Magnetic Docking System was easy to install and works like a charm! Love the strength of the magnet - holds the handheld shower to to the docking system perfectly and efficiently. The various water settings are perfect for your needs - especially the stronger pressure setting for any stress areas you may have (like your shoulders). I highly recommend this to anyone needing a shower head that can be detached with ease and allow you to reach all the areas you need to clean with ease.

shower head leaks for several hours after shower the is off , very disappointed in product . I have always purchased Moen products , this item disappointing. My bathroom remodeling has taken longer than anticipated , so Lowes will not accept the item as return for full refund . I will give Moen's corporate office a call to see want you can do for me.

Awesome, Easy install took less than 10 minutes.

Easy install. The magnetic wand is easy to use if you want to use it that way. Finish is spot free after using. The shower pattern is easy to change and the patterns make sense when adjusting it. Just needed pipe thread tape when you install and plumbing to the water supply. My wife said she could have done that!!

Better than I'd hoped. Key components are metal (not plastic). Gaskets and orings seem pretty sturdy. Installation was a breeze - didnt even need the pipe wrench.

Do not use any tools to tighten.

I bought one of these shower heads a couple of months ago. I love it. The ease of switching streams. It flows so gently in all settings and the ease of hanging it back up is fantastic for older people. No trying to snap it back it because of magnetic force. I bought another one for my guest bath. Iam very pleased with this product.

So Happy With Purchase

I bought this product after seeing my son's handheld which he has had about 5 years and loves (different model number but appears identical). The hardest part about this job was removing the old shower head. Once it was removed, installing the new shower head took about 5 minutes for this senior lady and I have no leaks. Water pressure is good. I did not use/need plumbers tape as was advised by salesman that it was not needed for a metal to plastic connection (the docking unit for the shower head is plastic). Installation instructions also did not use tape.

Purchased 7 years ago and today

After 7 years, the shower head plastic squirters started falling apart. Probably due to the chlorine in the water. Paid $133 in 2017 and now it's not doubled in price like most things. I owned the "09" version which allows more water flow, but this time I opted for the "10" version, since we like to run both the main shower and the handheld in place at the same time. For the price, this is a very nice shower head. There has been no changes I could see in my 7 year old unit and today's unit. Took me about 5 minutes to install. Expect it to last 5-7 years.

Overall love it, two minor critiques!

We got the brushed nickel finish and it looks great! Wand is long enough so we can wash our small dog on the shower floor. Controls work well, simple to install. We wanted more pressure, as flow is a little weak. I drilled a 3/16 hole in the restrictor which took this to amazing. Only other minor critique is that with the rain shower head angled properly the magnetically latched wand needs to be docked a little sideways. We’d purchase this again.

GREAT FAUCET WITH UNCERTAIN DURABILITY

I liked the various sprays that are possible. I liked the wide angle of the full spray setting. I liked the flexible metal hose versus the all plastic hose of competitors. I liked the responsiveness of their support team, who rapidly sent a new part, when a part was missing. This is also a dislike, though as the part should not have been missing in the first place.

Beautiful with Great Water Pressure

I'm so glad I bought this! I bought this to replace one that I bought a long time ago and the plastic inner hose was coming apart so I had to replace it before it sprung a hole. The water pressure in this is so much stronger than the old one and I love the big shower head. The brushed nickel matches the other Moen fixtures in my bathroom. I do find I have to keep turning it hotter but I'm not sure why, perhaps I need to replace my very old water heater next.

Quality & Performance

I bought this a month ago from the local store and had a problem so I called the professional customer service. It is nice to actually talk to a real person who is knowledgeable to help you out . I like it so much with the easy install without any tools or tape just hand tight , no leaks. The water pressure at 2.5 gpm in my area is a refreshing experience every time. I also love the magnetic hook up that makes using the wand more easier as it just snaps back in place ! Everyone is complaining about the plastic and quality iI love it so much I ordered 2 more for my Mom and I need another one but they keep running out of stock.

Purchased for second bathroom

We had one upstairs from Menards. One of the combination (both over head and additional pull down) that worked perfect. Great pressure. Easy to use. Helps with cleaning the shower. When put new shower in another bath area, tried another bit wanted the same. The first was from menards but didn’t have the time. Checked with my Walmart plus and it was 20-30 cheaper than amazon. And also cheaper than menards! And sold by Walmart, not private seller. Now have better water pressure and easier to clean new shower!

Blasting Power

1st thing before following the advice given by YouTube misinformation is when you remove the old one take a flashlight to check inside the pipe coming from the wall. 85% of these I have installed had the old ring or a plastic left over which will block any water pressure.

Good product, a bit of marketing hype, SALE buy!

Pretty nice showerhead combo. If there are any complaints, it is the following two things I noticed:

Hint for resolving leaks at pipe elbow.

It took several tries to get the leak to stop using the furnished parts and methods. The pipe elbow to Moen joint is supposed to be used with the screened washer and hand-tightened. However, the mating surfaces do not necessarily have the same diameters internally so the washer kept “rolling-off” the mating flanges and leaking. I substituted one of the furnished hose washers into this connection and put the screened washer in the first hose joint to prevent debris from entering the hose and head. Seems to be a good fix! Enjoy this pretty nice head!

Fit the bill perfectly

We were experiencing slow pressure from another brand of showerhead, to the point where we thought something was wrong with our system. Started with the easy fix - change the showerhead. After research, we settled on this showerhead and all of our problems disappeared. The pressure is fantastic, we don't run out of hot water, and is very flexible for our needs. Best easy investment we have made in a long time. We are buying another one for our second bathroom.

Works great for what we need.

We replaced another brand name showerhead with this one, and we are so glad we did. Our water pressure is very good here, so we couldn't figure out why our old showerhead wasn't doing the trick. We had the double head handheld version and didn't realize it was a 1.75gpm head. Our new Moen is 2.5gpm and was very easy to install. Once we fired it up we couldn't believe how good the pressure now was, and there is no need for us to remove the flow restrictor valve like others have had to. The pressure is wonderful, and exactly what we have been missing for the past year. We almost bought the double headed version again from Moen, but we didn't want to have the same problem we and others have had here with low water pressure. We wish we had done this a long time ago, but we figured that's the way it was, until we purchased this showerhead. The magnet is strong, the water pressure is fantastic, and we still have the use of the handheld function is we want. As far as others having problems with the hose, it is stiff coming out of the box but a few hot showers through it makes it hang nicely without crimps. We could not be happier with this product.

Not much help on water pressure but nice product

We wanted to improve the water pressure in our upstairs shower. A plumber recommended we get the highest flow shower head available, which is 2.5 gpm. We had a pretty basic Moen handheld and wanted another handheld, so we went with this. We took out the flow control (in the handle of the head—tweeze out the little metal guard and then remove the green and blue plastic valve). Water pressure is okay at smallest setting. We might have done better with a smaller fixed head, however, a house’s water pressure is sometimes what it is and can’t be improved much. The magnet attachment works well. If your house has decent water pressure to start with, this will work great for you. Very easy to install yourself (there are several YouTubes).

This replacement showerhead was exactly what we needed for our guest bathroom. We were renovating our master bathroom, and we had to shower in the guest bathroom while the renovation was ongoing. We quickly learned that the standard showerhead needed an upgrade. This showerhead was inexpensive, but not "cheap" by any means. We felt good that it was a great brand (Moen) and the functionality is great. The detachable showerhead has a magnetic "dock" that makes the handheld part easy to remove. At the same time, it's great as a regular showerhead. The hose is very flexible, which is an issue with other removable showerheads. It has six spray settings, so it's versatile. It also has a limited lifetime warranty, so Moen stands behind it. A great purchase from Wayfair.
