Much bigger then it seems to be in the photos. feels a bit low quality of materials. was installed over kitchen counter.

Great Affordable Fixture

This fixture is very stylish and well built for the money. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I added an additional 4 coats of clear finish to the fixture for my own sake because it is in the bathroom. It has done extremely well in this location and see no signs of wear, rust, or safety concerns. The glass shades are elegant, one being frosted and the other being clear. They are a little tricky putting it together by yourself, an extra set of hands goes a long way balancing the glass.

Amazing add to our space

These pendant lights were an amazing value and provide bring so much style to our space. We receive compliments on them all the time! In fact, we use these lights the most in our kitchen -- great for over island task lighting. The one drawback was missing "bands" for the cables in one of the boxes. I didn't want to pay for the electrician to come back again so we used elastic bands from our daughter's braces.

Bright Light. Big Deal.

I recently purchased on older home (ok, ancient home - it's 102 years old) and the existing fixture in the bathroom was a frosted glass, cheapo number that gave off very little light. I've replaced it with the Proteus pendant and I'm very happy with the style, illumination quality, overall functionality.
