Split Shower Head and Garbage Diverter

Purchased this unit a few years ago. Shortly after it ran out of warranty, the shower head split and started shooting water out the side and was unfixable. I replaced with a standard rain shower head which has worked much better. The selector knob for the diverter (to change between functions) had gotten to where it was stick/hang sometimes and then it finally quit working altogether and just spins. It's not a standard part you can just replace and it's nearly impossible to remove without breaking it... lots of plastic, ceramic disks, and a crummy little spring inside. And of course once you plumb and put in brackets, you can't easily just switch to a different brand without replumbing and tearing up your wall (and mine is tiled). Do yourself a favor and just avoid this product.

It is a really great product

I have had this system now for about 5 years. It is a really great product. I had a problem with the rain shower head once, but I called and they sent me a new one immediately. I would highly recommend this product.

This product is absolutely fabulous!

Bought this Tropicana shower system about a month ago. This product is absolutely fabulous. Well worth the money. Very easy to install, and the quality is outstanding. One of my best purchases ever. Also, thanks to Vanessa for going above and beyond. If all companies provided the great customer service u provided me, this would be a better world.

Overall very happy

A little disappointed in the silk body jets. My fault as I should have researched further. Other than that , a good quality product. Any suggestions on how to retrofit larger volume jets would be appreciated. I have plenty of volume and pressure in my water supply.

Defective in so many ways

The unit came well packed except that it had a plastic spacer that was supposed to be on the back of the unit just thrown in at the last minute. I was bent and obviously never attached to this unit. The I had t tighten every connection on the back since they were all loose. When I finally got it installed the body jets only had a slight amount of water coming out of the bottom two jets, nothing from the rest. I called the factory three times. The third time their 'expert' told me to disassemble the outlet valve and remove the rubber 'o' ring and plastic restrictor. I had to remove the unit from the wall to do this. Turns out there was nothing in thee fitting. I tried to blow air through the water line to see if I could blow out whatever was restricting the flow. That did not work either. I suspect the diverter valve is bad, so obviously this company has no quality control.

Poor water flow

Only 2 of the 6 jets work. When I called, I was told some part needed to be removed. Nothing like this was mentioned in the installation manual. I already paid a plumber $175 to install and now have to pay another $175 to have him take down what he just did, remove some piece which may or may not correct the issue and then reinstall for another $175, on top of the price for this thing! We bought this originally in 2015, shower part broke and for various reasons, we bought the same unit. My advice to anyone is to just get a regular shower head! Our other showers in the house are fine, it is not a water pressure issue.

Beautiful but not quite the blue color I was expecting. The hand held wand holder has come loose over time but I suspect that can be tightened by a professional.

Man I love this PULSE Showerspa

We love this shower tower. We ended up switching out the water flow reducer to a more-desired size because ours was damaged and making a whining sound when the water was flowing. The water flow reducer is located where I have the black arrow on the picture. I also ended up swapping out the water lines to longer ones because there is a brace on the back of the unit that limited how far the water lines could move for our setup. I would definitely purchase again.

Great panel, high quality, and tips to fix flow.

This is a great shower panel - I had to replace one from another manufacturer that completely fell apart (it was black granite held together by stone adhesive), and I couldn't find anything that would either (1) be shippable to California due to the mandated 1.8 gpm max flow restriction, and (2) would handle the wide stub-outs that my old panel had. Regarding the flow restrictors, well, if you want a really nice shower and you live in California, the manufacturer will automatically ship you the CA version. No big deal, you can pull the restrictor out of the shower head and that converts it to the normal 2.5 gpm flow (MUCH better). It's a bit tougher for the panel jets, but with a crescent wrench the restrictor comes out of the "T" for the jets with about two minutes of work. BTW, I'm on well water, and the pressure in this old house is bad, so having the 2.5 gpm was a must-do. Your mileage may vary.

All installed very quickly, replacing a leaking conventional valve behind the tile. The only criticism I have is the shower head. The silicone nozzles can be pushed into the head and are difficult to extract. There needs to be some kind of anchoring for the nozzles. I have other heads in the house without this problem. It will likely be replaces with another after market head.

spa jets do not all spray

We chose this panel because it looks good and has features we wanted: tub spout, hand-held, rain shower-head. The 6 spa jets weren't what attracted us to the unit; nevertheless, even though we had it installed by a plumber, we can't get volume except on the two lowest jets. The middle two spit water, and the top two dribble water. So if you are looking for a unit that will give you a spa experience, it isn't this one, and they should call it a wall shower panel, NOT a shower spa. Of course, once it's installed, it's what you have--and we paid almost as much for the install as the unit cost because the plumber came back trying to get the spa jets to work better. No luck.

Looks nice but leaks

I'm pretty burnt by this item. It cost over $600 to deliver then I had to pay someone $400 to install it. Everything looked great and worked as expected until I noticed on day 1 that it leaks and sprays water from where the shower head pivots, this should not happen and there is no way for me to fix this unless I change that head which I cannot find parts for. Super annoyed that it leaks so bad after all the hard work it took to get it installed and I have no options to fix it.

Love this shower!

We love this shower panel! The body sprayers are sublime. We can actually use two functions at a time if we put the selector in between two functions. We get great water pressure, and the whole showering experience is wonderful. We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a spa experience in their shower. We had it installed by a professional plumber. I would not recommend it as a DIY project.
