I am very happy with this rug. I arrived quickly and was well packaged. It is the perfect size for the base of my stairs. I love the round shape to break up all of the mostly square shapes I have in my home. The rug is a low loop construction. I wasn’t sure how it would hold up with our dog (a Viszla). She routinely dances around on the rug with her claws and it has not seemed to harm the rug at all. There are a lot of colors in this rug. Mostly shades of blue, from quite light to very dark. I was surprised to see that there is actually some blueish purple in this rug. Subtle, but definitely there. With these colors, the rug reminds me of a pool of water. This rug is easy to keep looking nice with regular vacuuming. I am pleased that it is not one of those rugs that sheds much, or really any at all. I have this on a hardwood floor. I have a nice pad underneath, which I think is needed in order to keep it from slipping around. This is a very nice good quality rug. Very pleased with this purchase!
