Beautiful fan- wanted something unique and loved the blade's style and color.

after the fan came in the wrong size, i decided to check amazon. amazon carries the same fan for about $300 less. plus fan was sent in wrong size, the new 72” blades sent saying we just needed to swap out blades but that too was wrong. now waiting for entire new fan with 72” blades to be sent but it’s on back order. it’s been a mess and will take us probably another 4-5 hrs to reinstall. you provided a 10% discount but the amount of work plus the up charge compared to amazon is very frustrating. the fan looks great and we have received many compliments on the 60” as we wait for the 72” to arrive. At this point, we will not be making anymore purchases from shades of light- just too many mistakes.

Awesome fan

Beautiful fan was exactly what I was looking for. It marches one I purchase from Ferguson 4 years ago. The service was great dealing with the store in Austin and the fan arrived in three days. Putting it together was a little difficult but OK once you follow directions exactly. I love it and it is perfect in the new room extension.

Windmill 44” ceiling fan

This fan is absolutely gorgeous! It’s super quiet and looks fabulous in my living room. It’s a must buy but just have the patience to put it together. It’s not hard just time consuming.

Not Happy!

Purchased 5 fan and light kits. Almost $6000. I just finished the project and was hanging the fan/lights. One of them was missing a $8.00 part. Took 3 days to respond to tell me that the fan was out of warranty and if I wanted to ship the part, I pay for the part and shipping! Terrible customer service! Done with Quorum!

Fabulous Windmill Fan!

Fabulous Windmill Fan!!! We installed this fan in a client's lake house in New Hampshire, and I liked it so much that I just installed it in my own home in Maryland. It is challenging to assemble and hang, (we actually had to cut one of the metal brackets to get the last of the 15 blades into place) but well worth the time and planning. It is definitely a conversation piece and everyone loves it. My family room is a 2 story space, which needed something substantial. It has a rustic look that we love. Overall I think it's a very good value and as an architect I would recommend this fan.

Bammm! What an addition to our barndomenium

Wow!!! This is the most unique and gorgeous ceiling fan. We purchased two of these for our living room in our barndomenium. They look amazing and everyone compliments us on them. They work fantastic and sometimes we have to turn the one above us off if we get too cool. It did take about 3 hours to put each one together and up but well worth it!

Great Fan

This is a HUGE fan. But we have a large family room with high ceilings so it fits perfectly.

Ordered fan back in April, was on back order. Finally received fan in August. Had to schedule an electrician to come out to put up fan, which of course took some time. When finally opened the box fan the blades are far darker than the picture. They have blue and gray and are nothing like the lighter color shown on picture. Unable to return since out of 30 day range. Now stuck with fan that doesn’t match. Customer service not accommodating. Would not order fan or from company again.

Awesome Fan

At 65 years old, we built a new house out in the country and are loving it! We found this fan and installed it since there was an Aermotor Windmill on the property. We could not have made a better choice. Excellent materials and craftsmanship. It works great too. Moves plenty of air for a ceiling fan. I didn’t want something to blow everything around the room, I wanted comfortable air movement. We like the wall mounted remote with 6 speed setting, reverse and stop. The is a switch for a light but with 20 can lights we didn’t need one on the fan. Loving it greatly. One thing, if the fan quits working when you press the buttons on the remote, change the battery. Whether it’s wall mounted or hand held, change the battery!!!

Great fan, very difficult to hang.

Very high quality fan. Difficult to hang. Assembly is tedious but not really difficult once you figure out how the blades and pieces go together (the instructions need better pictures). But hanging it is a different story. It is heavy and the diameter is 60", and you have to have blades attached before you hang it. I hung ours from a 17' vaulted ceiling (with a 48" downrod) which was next to impossible, because once you hang it you can't reach the top of rod to wire it because the blades are in the way. Though it was extremely difficult at 17', it would not be easy at any level because the blade spacing won't let you reach through them. However, we do love the fan, it just is difficult to install compared to the dozens of fans I have installed in the past.

Absolutely LOVE this fan

I spent a TON of time researching the size of fan for my 20'x20' great room and I was a bit scared at first to buy a 72" fan but I can honestly say that it was the right call and this fan is incredible.

Beautiful Fan, High Speed is Super Low!

I purchased this fan several years ago for my outdoor patio. At the time Quorum did not make an outdoor version, the fan was rated for humid/wet areas. I see now the outdoor version is more money...no surprise there. The fan is absolutely beautiful and I have received a ton of complements on it. Unfortunately, it does not move enough air in an outdoor setting. On the highest speed it runs like all of my other ceiling fans on low speed. I live in Florida and need a fan that moves air at a decent flow. I hate to part with its beauty and the quality seems to be exceptional! I have had the fan running stop for 4-5 years and it has never given me the first problem.

Waist of Money

We purchased this in October of 2018 and have recently installed. The absolute worst purchase I have ever made. The fan does NOT do anything to move the air around, it is basically as if it is not on. No one in there right mind buys a fan of this size and pays this much money for a fan that does not move air. In addition to the fan not doing anything other than looking cute (and let's face who cares if it cute, we need to be cooled off), I called the so called customer care line to inquire about an exchange. After being on hold for 45 minutes the call was disconnected. I called back and was immediately connected to "after hours orders" where the lady was rude and short. She did however read the script letting me know that orders would only be exchanged within 60 days of the purchase date. She then went on to explain that it has been a year since my original purchase, and that I am well passed 60 days. I understand the return policy, that is why I called to ask, but for the record, this is 9-3-19, I purchased in 10-27-18, not a year.

ABSOLUTELY NO COOL AIR

This fan is beautiful but it provides no cool air in our outdoor porch. We had the electrician come back to see if it was an adjustment that needed to be made. We even thought we had it going in the wrong directions. After paying my electrician his hourly rate and being on hold with the customer service department for a long period of time then trying to get to the specialist, the specialist went through the rotations that the fan is expected to do on each speed. After we counted the rotations on the different speeds, my electrician determined it was rotating the correct amount; however, it was not giving off any cool air.

Great Breeze Control

Not only are these unusual looking fans, generating lots of conversation because of their 6-foot wide span, but they are an excellent product. Couple of takeaways I learned after the fact Dash 1. The fans are easy to put together but require more than two people to install them. I was halfway through the instructions when it told me that it required three people to hang it. My wife and I managed to hang to fans by ourself utilizing rope and pulleys while mounting them off of a beam 15 ft in the air. 2. We used these fans for new construction and the electrician pre-wired the switch locations. The switches should not be mounted very close together as it causes interference. We did not realize this until reading the instructions after the house was wired. The switches do work with minimal interruption and is not caused me enough issue to call an electrician back out. These fans hang 15 ft in the air and even on low speed (1 through 6 ) there is enough airflow to make you comfortable.

I recently downsized from a house to a condo for a more low maintenance lifestyle. I wanted simple, elegant natural pieces that flowed through the unit organically since the space is quite a bit smaller than I'm accustomed. I was in love with this fan the moment I saw it but was admittedly concerned about it being too big for the condo. I wanted the 15 blades which required the 60" fan so I took the risk and purchased it. I LOVE IT! The condo has 10' ceilings and mostly white walls so I think the size, while big, makes the statement I was hoping for without being 'too much.' The wood colored blades were a little lighter than I expected but this ended up being a happy accident since the daylight coming through the windows tends to cast a shadow at the ceiling making things appear a little darker up there at certain points during the day. I had an electrician assemble and hang it last night and I seriously couldn't be happier. This fan is the smoothest running and most quiet fan I've ever seen/heard and worth every penny! I will admit even the professional I hired took a while to get the thing together and hung so keep in mind you're going to have to 'work for it' when you get it. But its worth it once its hanging in all its glory in your room! It comes with a remote and multiple speeds and the option to add a light kit. I didn't feel a light kit was necessary for the aesthetic of what I'm going for in my room and the statement is significant with just the fan itself. This fan arrived earlier than projected and packed safely so no shipping damage at all. Its the perfect finishing touch to my room and sure to be a favorite for guests.

Great looking fan fits our decor perfectly. You have to follow handling/assembly directions carefully, though, in order to avoid damaging the fan structure. The final screw of the assembly would not fit in the housing hole, wasn't threaded properly or hold not right size. Our electrician had to use a tap screw to refigure hole. Fan was originally on a higher speed, however, after several hours it began making noises, apparently out of balance, but because it was mounted on a beam on our vaulted ceiling, we were not able to set up the scaffold to recheck everything, nor were there any materials to balance the fan such as the weights included with standard fans. We turned it to a lower speed and it has been running non-stop since then with no problems. Overall, its a great fan, but due to its size, it's difficult to install and troubleshoot if there are any technical issue. Also, I wish there was a handheld remote that would work with this fan for convenience.

I received the fan, but was missing the wall mount controller. I called Quorum, and they had mo go back through Overstock. Overstock semt me an entire new fan, and I returned the original. The second fan had the wrong controller in the box. This time Quorum dealt with me directly, and got me the correct controller. My fan looks absolutely stunning in my newly renovated living room. It works great, and is super quiet. I could not be happier with it. It's insanely expensive, but this was a splurge to go with my farmhouse theme, and I dont regret buying it for a second. Its one of the first things people comment on when they walk in.

This ceiling fan is absolutely stunning. We've received many compliments. The bad news is- be prepared to put it together. My husband and I have put up plenty of lights, all of which he wasn't too happy to hang. But when I opened the box, I was a bit intimidated and thought-I need to just send this back. There were SO MANY PIECES. Without counting the nuts, washers, and screws, there were probably at least 50 pieces to this thing. We stuck it out and boy, I'm glad we did. Because it looks fantastic! Also, I've included a picture of the fan controller we also had to install. It wasn't something we were used to, since we normally only switch out light fixtures. I feel that someone who's looking to purchase needs to know about this special controller, especially if they're installing them self.
