The rug colors look different from different sides

The rug looks like it should be a dark teal color over all in the picture from the website and from one angle it is. One the other hand when you walk to the other side of the rug it looks more silver. The rug is pretty and I will still use since it will still match but I was trying to add a good rich dark color to my room with this rug and I do not get that like I thought I would.

The teal is maybe a little lighter than I expected, but it's really very pretty. Interesting and welcoming, but still kind of neutral. The rug unrolled and is already lying mostly flat after only 3 days or so (I have other rugs that are STILL trying to return to their rolled state after a few weeks.) Rug feels good against the bare feet, and we chose a thicker rug pad so it's a bit "cushier". Great choice for our guest room.

Beware of color

I used the “see it in my room” feature to make sure the color was what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the color presents much more yellow in natural and artificial light than the color shown online. It’s also listed as an 8x10 but smaller at 7’8” x10. Pretty rug, just not the color or size I was looking for. Disappointed.

This rug was purchased on sale-unbeatable price for a lovely and well-made rug! So soft that it’s the dogs favorite afternoon place to nap. We have since purchased another for the hall AND a round one for the sitting area in our master bedroom.

This 8x10 rug is as described except for the color. I know computer screens are not all the same and die lots vary, but I don't think the pictures shown accurately represent what I received. I thought this rug was going to be much darker with teal being the dominant color and gray secondary, having a definitive pattern. To me, the rug looks worn out and is prominently gray, so I am very disappointed. Although Wayfair has a great return policy, how does an old lady like me roll it up, pack it up and send it back.

These rugs are Fabulous! I have the runner in my foyer, an 8x10 in my dining room and a 7x7 in my living room. I chose the Cream/Beige rugs and they are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve had them for about two months and they vacuum beautifully. I have seven indoor, feral cats who won’t allow me to touch them so I’m unable to trim their nails. They stretch their legs while grabbing the rugs with their claws and I have never seen any damage. I highly recommend these rugs without hesitation!

Just arrived and I am so disappointed! The color is good, but it depends on what direction you are looking at it...the pile can make it look faded from one side. Anyway, my biggest issue is that I ordered the 6x9, and it is actually smaller than that...5'10 x 8' something...I bought it to replace my old 9x7, willing to give up the extra foot, but now? sigh...I'm too old, sick and disabled to send it back. I've always been so satisfied with my purchases from Wayfair. :-(

Great quality, soft lovely color combination. I bought one last year and loved it so much that when the opportunity arose for another rug, there was no doubt what I wanted. I bought another to join with it in near proximity.

Love this area rug! It's prettier in person and with the color variation it seems like it would go well in just about any room. We are using this one in the family room. The round shape breaks up all of the rectangular lines of the room (walls, windows, couch, entertainment center). The weave seems super tight. I will be ordering a matching rug to go in the dining room.

Chose this area rug for my kitchen. It’s a new home and the tile floor was really hard on my back. I’ve had previous back surgeries and wanted to cushion the tile flooring. So I bought this rug and also a Mohawk pad. Game changer. I like to bake and prepare meals now.

This is my 5th Safavieh rug. I love them all and get wonderful comments on them. This one has very vivid colors, especially the medallion in the middle. It is a lovely pairing with a larger more muted toned beige and red rug. I do plan on purchasing at least two more. Very easy to clean. I cannot recommend these rugs more highly.

I bought multiple Safavieh carpets and am happy with their quality. This one does not disappoint. The rug is well-made and the color is deep. It is relatively thick so I expect it to last. It came packed and I sprayed water on the upper and lower surfaces to straighten it. This process takes a few days. A steamer may work better.

I had ordered a runner in this same pattern from a different source. I was very happy with the look and feel of the runner and decided I would like a small rectangle rug to match. There were none available at the former source. I looked up the product makers website just by googling the name on the back of the rug - the site provides different sources to get the rug, and the availability of different sizes. Houzz was the lowest price! I knew I would be happy with the purchase, but I was equally thrilled at the price and shipping. I wish I had shopped Houzz for the first purchase too. kjn

Great rug for under a dining table!

I wanted a round rug to go under my round dining table, and it needed to satisfy several criteria. It had to have a very low pile, be easy to vacuum, hide the inevitable pasta sauce or ketchup stain, feel good under bare feet and not cost an arm and a leg because I wasn’t going to trust anyone if they told me that all of the above boxes were checked off. Well, this rug did the trick! Countless things have dropped into the carpet over the years - from food items to paintbrushes and you could never tell. The carpet is soft under foot - ever around the circumference of the circle. The best part is that because of the combination of the fiber used to make the rug and the low profile of the pile, the dining chairs easily glide across the rug making it easy to get in and out from the table.

Great Colors, very inexpensive

I needed a rug with an ivory background. I would have preferred an allover ivory on taupes or reverse, but I ordered this after trying 2 other rugs. The other rugs were Surya Caesar rugs. The Surya rugs are definitely not an ivory background. This rug has nice vibrant colors, but not too vibrant. This is an inexpensive rug, so probably not good for high traffic areas. I am using it in a sitting area, that never gets used. It is hard to see in the photo, but the border is a blue teal, not a green teal.

Good Rug: Colours change with grain

Love our rug and the quality. Here is the thing about the colour and some of the comments have about it being "lighter" than pictured. The rug has a grain so if you look at the rug from one side, say the right side where the fibres run with the grain, it will appear pale green with a tinge of shine effect. If you look at it from the other side, it's dark green. Both are lovely.

QUALITY! BEAUTIFUL! STUNNING!

This rug is beautiful! It feels amazing & looks stunning. We purchased a 12x18 in the ivory/red. It fits PERFECTLY & once it flattens out it will be THE STAR of the room! Beautifully made, easy to clean, beautiful colors, excellent definition of the design. Safavieh rugs have not disappointed me yet! They are quality, beautifully made, excellent colors & look stunning! This is the 4th Safavieh rug we've purchased - and by far the largest - and they are all fabulous! The color for the ivory/red: the red is a rich merlot color; the ivory is very warm & creamy. It is a great back-drop if you're looking to brighten a room. Very very happy!

I bought a hallway runner and a 4'x6' rectangular carpet. They are polypropylene and inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting much, just something that looks nice in my new kitchen and hallway but at a price I won't be upset to lose if the carpets are damaged by being near food, water and heavy traffic. These carpets are exactly what I wanted. They look very nice. The pile is dense, but they are not thick. In order to make them a little more comfortable underfoot, I'd recommend getting a reasonable carpet pad. Good buy!
