This range hood is stunning, and the fingerprint-resistant feature is a plus. The suction power is impressive, and the sleek design made installation a breeze. The only minor drawback, which I overlooked when buying online, is the push-button controls for the light and fan speeds. A more modern touch would have been preferred. Nevertheless, it's still a worthwhile purchase overall.

La hotte fonctionne bien, facilement nettoyable, facile d'installation. On utilise pas le bluetooth parce que notre four Samsung ne fonctionne pas avec, mais c'était pas un critère pour nous. Je met 4/5 parce que la hotte fait quand même pas mal de bruit, mais en retour, elle tire bien l'air.

BUYER BEWARE DAMAGED DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!!!

Purchased this $1800 hood range for an ongoing Kitchen renovation. Only to remove the white plastic protective film on the the vent cover and discover a dark black line covering all three sides. Samsung refuses to take ownership of this defect advising leaving the customer on the hook with this damaged piece.

Will not last long

I bought this vent hood late 2019. Yet, it broke down now. The vent just stop but lights are still on. I called Samsung, but just to get the Tech out would cost over $100 for them to come out and take a look. Unfortunately, the warranty is out. Now, I have to spend money to repair it.

Don't buy this. My God the disappointment is real.

600 cfm? Does not even come close. There's no way! I boiled water and put this thing on boost and it still doesn't get it all.

Bad design and not standing behind their products

product is great ans i love it. however, the top chimney hood cover design is very bad. it has a sliding mechanism to install. once an insraller removes tbe protective film, there is no easy way to avoid the scratches!! samsung needs to put a felt in the inside of the bottom cover to prevent this. this is a very poor design and any consumer who ever tries to slide down the top cover (for any future maintenance ossues etc) are in for a surprise.

Like a commercial hood fan without the cost

Not sure about all the bad reviews on this fan. We've had for 4 years...absolutely none of the issues I've read in the other comments. It's insanely powerful. Connects to bluetooth and goes on automatically if needed. Strong extraction - actually does what it's supposed to do. Would absolutely buy again.

we remolded our home and bought all new samsung appliances. worse mistake. we really liked the color of them and thought we were getting good quality appliances. low and behold the vent hood craped out a year after warranty. i’m so angry because now our dishwasher has problems. i feel like for the price we paid these would last longer than 1-3 years. we’ll never purchase again.

I purchased this hood to go with my other Samsung appliances and it is a showstopper. It is elegant and very powerful. Prior to my kitchen Reno I had an outdated recirculating hood which literally did nothing but blow the food smells, smoke and grease around. This one has 4 different vent powers and vents to the outside. The lighting is great for cooking too. The only issue is I cannot find the hood on the Samsung app to connect to Wi-Fi.

My wife was looking to redo the kitchen hood, since we didn't have an option when building the home. We selected this hood due to the looks, but at the same time it has been a great addition to the kitchen. Once we purchase our Samsung oven, the bluetooth feature will be used (which is cool, that is will turn on and off when we are cooking automatically).
