Can’t really review the product. I can review the service. Was supposed to be delivered on July 16.. Kept getting pushed out. Eventually, 3 trash cans were delivered on 7/19 instead. Home depot told me I needed to dispute the charges with my Credit card. The local delivery agent then contacted me three weeks after the order was supposed to arrive to arrange shipment… Needless to say, I refused delivery as I had already re-ordered the item with another supplier.

Zephyr 36” island mount

So glad we got rid of our existing built in downdraft vent/blower range. The entire house smelled whenever we cook because the range exhaust fan was basically useless. It also limited us to what range we could buy as replacement. Installing the Zephyr Anzio was the best thing we did for our kitchen. It has strong suction, nice lighting, and it’s a beautiful piece to our kitchen. As a DIYer, the install was easy and straight forward. The hardest part was patching the ceiling drywall.

Installing instructions need to be more accurate on having to cut the mounting frame if you have an 8 foot ceiling. I had to cut both sections to get the desired height from the range cooktop. They should have provided different lengths of framing so that cutting and drilling wasn't necessary. They also failed to mention that the ventilation duct cover would need to be cut down for an 8 foot ceiling as well. After all of the modifications were made, the hood looks great and functions very nicely. These were the things that I would like to have known about before getting started. Thanks
