this is really a powerful hood, it has a sleek design and matches with my other appliances very well. The lights are nicely located. Level 4 is far more powerfully than any other hood I tried before. Great product

Compromise choice

Probably on the higher end of available range hoods, but not a great product. Needs design revisions. The baffles can pop out too easily, damaging themselves and/or your range or pots and pans, steak, etc. Needs a deeper channel on the front edge. The LEDs are gross blue (probably 5000K +), should be warm or bright white (2700 to 3000). Not especially quiet, but tolerable.

Looks beautiful but REALLY LOUD even on low

We bought the Zline KECOM 36" range hood. It looks beautiful but there are two major issues:

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Serious issues with Quality Control.

Engineering on this hood is good; quality control as it leaves the warehouse is atrocious. Tack welds have failed, screws were not bothered to be put in, instead, it looks like they have been thrown in the box. The screws themselves are of a softer metal and did not look like proper sheetmetal screws. Vent hood dented in several places. The start capacitor has exploded. A replacement unit has been sent with the same construction issues. Box and components help up excellently for shipping.

Great range hood!

We recently remodeled out kitchen and were looking for a sleek and simple design that complimented our shaker cabinets. This range hood was priced really well and a lot less money than other hoods we looked at. We had an electrician install it as the installation process was beyond our ability. This range hood works well and looks amazing! We could not be more pleased with it. If we ever need another hood, we’ll be purchasing from this site.

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Very good overall

After using our new range hood for a few weeks, we can say that so far we are quite pleased. The styling of the KE-36-400, even though modern, does blend well with our slightly more traditional kitchen. The fan is quiet, especially on the lower settings, and we find that we rarely need the highest setting anyway. The lower settings eliminate odors just fine if we run it during the actual cooking, even fish odors! The lights are awesome, and we love that you can adjust the angle, although a wonderful improvement would be to have the adjust brightness as well (for a night light setting). Overall, a terrific product!

Great Product! A little difficult to install.

I bought this range hood to go above my range in place of a prior microwave. This ZLINE hood looks GREAT. I really like the style and especially the recirculating feature which allowed me to install the hood without the need to externally vent. The hood itself was great quality. My only negative feedback is regarding the installation process which wasn't exactly clear. The hood came with a very nice instruction booklet - but the booklet didn't address my specific type of range hood and left several steps vague. If I hadn't been handy, it would have been very difficult for me to install this product. But in the end, I managed the install in about 4-5 hours time and the end result looks great!

Function and Beauty

I bought this (KF2-36) range hood several months before my house was completed enough to install, but I didn't want to chance it selling out. It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition There is a plastic lining adhered to the stainless steel finish to protect it from scratches and it is packed in styrofoam to prevent dents. All the hardware needed to install is included, and everything goes together well. I chose this model because of the four CFM settings. It has enough power to vent anything I can cook up. The lights are bright and pool over the stove top. I do wish there were two light settings instead of one, but this is minor. The range hood operates well and is surprisingly quiet. The best part is that it looks beautiful while it functions flawlessly.
