Cheap materials and faulty LED

honestly, I thought that for the price I was paying, I would get a higher quality product. The hardware that comes with the product is cheaply made and bent while I was installing it (mounting plate and screws). It took way longer than it should have to install because of this (I've installed several fixed and hanging ceiling lights and fans with no issues before). After all the hassle, it turns out half the LEDs don't work. I went to take the light down to troubleshoot, but now I can't even unscrew the light from my ceiling because the threaded knobs won't unscrew from the mounting screws. The light itself is beautiful, but the money you spend is on aesthetics and not quality materials. I'm afraid I'll probably damage it beyond returning to even remove it from my ceiling now.

I purchased a 32" round drum chandelier to go over a kitchen table. I am not familiar with lumens and therefore contacted customer service prior to a purchase. I was told that 3-5000 lumens would be good lightening for my kitchen. I had it installed. The light is dim and without additional lighting, it's a dark, dull eating area. Unfortunately, I was told today it can't be returned once it is hung. An $800 chandelier, no returns, no exchanges. Be sure to clearly read their policy, not glance at it. I did see returns and exchanges and assumed I could return or exchange. Amazon carries many Kichler chandeliers, shop amazon or elsewhere...I'm paying the price. Big company, poor policy. Lesson learned.

Looks Beautiful, But Once Hung, Not so Much

My wife and I purchased two (2) of these chandeliers for our new home’s dining area and three of the matching pendants for over the kitchen island. Online, they look great with the support wires straight, but the power wires hang loosely (see photos). They are only attached to the support wires by a tiny clear rubber band. Kichler needs to re-think this as it appears to us to be a design flaw or manufacturer defect. There is no way to tightened the power wires once hung. You would think the power wires would either be taut like the support wires or enclosed in a thin conduit or tube so it didn’t look so unsightly. The matching pendants also had flaws in tha they did not hang straight, no matter how we tried to work on the support wire.

Light Exploded

We bought this light and within 2 weeks we had a situation where 2 bulbs exploded and caught fire. Litfad, the maker of the light, has not responded to numerous requests to replace the light. I would not recommend purchasing this light.

Very Happy

This chandelier came very well packaged and was delivered quickly. Love the fixture. High quality. My only disappointment was that I thought the fixture was black and gold, it is actually brown and gold. All the pictures appear to be black.

I received my fixture from an open box purchase with no installation book. The wires appear twisted but I’m unsure if I can remove them and untwist.

So stunning

It’s very nice...a little pricey. Makes a bold statement. It sheds a lot of light and it can be controlled. Purchased it in the black and brass color. We are very happy with is purchase. Also, Lighting New York has the best prices so you can update your home and save money at the same time. Their customer service is wonderful too. Very gorgeous, well made, love the dimmable LED feature Directions are terrible, like most are. Made sure we had power, installed the light, nothing....so, figured out our existing dimmer switch, did not work with the LED. Installed new switch, perfect!Wish they could have enclosed a list of troubleshooting. We almost torn up the ceiling thinking something was wrong.

Beautiful Lighting

I had my husband install this beautiful chandelier and he said said it was very easy. I love the modern look and it looks real nice in my living room. I get many compliments when I have visitors. The quality is outstanding! I would highly recommend this lighting to anyone! You will love it!

Absolutely Stunning!

Installation was very simple & the directions were impressively clear! I love that you could adjust the length to basically fit anywhere. If you are installing in a room with lower to regular ceiling height, you will need to shorten the length of the wires. It would look beautiful in any home.The dark brown is matte and the gold finish inside gives it a modern glam. The lighting works great for day and night. It puts of a stunning amount of light and they dim perfectly This Chandelier did require me to help my husband hold it up while he connected the wires and mounted to the ceiling.

Perfect For any room Make Over.

We decided to surprise my daughter with a mini room makeover for her 15th Birthday. Boy was she surprised. Not only does she love it, but now her 18 year old sister and Boyfriend want one too.

I was looking for a fixture that would look modern in my kitchen but at the same time would go well with my mahogany wooden cabinets. I didn't want anything traditional looking but something that was modern and current in style. When I saw this fixture I knew it would be perfect. The dark brown is matte and the gold finish inside gives it a modern glam. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and gives a nice light. I had a handyman install it. The height was adjustable. It's well constructed and built beautiful. It was packaged well and delivered intact. I'm truly happy with the new addition in my home.

Beyond all my expectations!

Moderne 2 Light LED Chandelier/Pendant SN (Satin Nickel) is the fixture I ordered, however I received Olde Bronze. Either way, it has completely transformed the entire room! I love the stylish look, as well as the immense amount of light that now illuminates my once dark and drab eating area. My husband had no trouble installing it within 30 minutes, and was very pleased to find how easy it was to adjust. The electrical cords are a bit tacky, but that's the only thing I would change, (other than being the wrong finish). I really like what it's brought to my home and wouldn't consider changing it with anything else!
