Worthless Lock

Purchased this lock over a year ago, for my 90 year old mother. I should have known this was going to be a dud, when my son installed it and we discovered it was wired backwards. The lock was the unlock button, and the unlock button was the locked button. Just recently, the deadbolt has been freezing in place, so you have to work at getting it unlocked. The final straw now is, the deadbolt is frozen in place and you cannot get out. We are putting this in the trash where it belongs and purchasing a Sledge.

Terrible to program.

Very difficult to program....I have two, should have brought them back....rarely work properly.

Bad Experience

I got locked out of my house at midnight. It would not work. Installed in May and used brand new batteries.

Less than a year old, must replace

Some pieces bent inside through use over the last < year, pushed the screw out. Tried to reattach wouldn't go back together. To get myself able to lock the door, I had to put together upside down (works that way); meanwhile, no help when I call support -- long wait times, no one calls back. So much for Honeywell. I will probably buy a better lock made by a different company. Waste of $. But they know that, right?

Door lever broke in 30 days.

I purchased this lock and installed it in December. A month later the latch itself broke, where the barrel lock would only disengage when lifting the handle up (as oppose to down) allowing me to open the door. Upon uninstalling the lever assembly to investigate, a metal shard fell out of the barrel. Obviously, I went to return, but since I was expecting this to last more than a month, I did not keep the original box, and even lost the receipt so Lowes said no. I contacted Honeywell and they pushed me to a company they own that actually makes this set. They have been unresponsive. Very disappointed in this item, Lowe's, Honeywell and quite a safety hazard if this is used on a door you plan to keep intruders out with.... Poorly made product, spend the extra money and get a nicer one!

the metal used in construction the handle is too soft. the latch mechanism bent after a few uses and then you could not open the door. I had to take it off the hinges to get the door open. Did not even have a chance to try the deadbolt, but it seems very cheap and flimsy as well.

Security code quit working

My fiancé and I purchased our home then installed this lock for added convenience of using code. The lock and knob were nice but the code quit working in less than a month or so.

Horrible product. Do not buy.

Horrible product. Was defective out of the box. It would not accept code. Then for the next 8 hours randomly and continuously lock and unlocked itself. Gave lits of beeps. I searched directions and the internet to try and find out what 3, 4, 5, or 6 beeps mean. No luck. This thing has a mind of its own. Definitely returning this garbage for a refund.

No More Searching for Keys!!

Looks nice and was fairly easy to install. We love not having to search for keys! We just punch in the code and the lock opens. Just as easy to lock only need to press the lock key after code. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the rubber gasket around the key pad is pushed in on one area. We didn't want to take it apart and get another one sent to us. Too much time so we just kept it as is.

I would buy this again

Seems to work well except that I have tried it often as it is at a second house-worked coming in, didn't lock when I left without the key but probably user error because I would have to read the directions again and didn't have time

Easy set-up,easy install. Works on 4 AA bateries.

Easy to install. Polished,updated look. Keys are a nice size and backlight when pressed, which is an excellent feature in the dark.

I lost my keys recently. Thankfully I have the Honeywell keyless deadbolt. Found my keys on the counter.

Wouldn't stay locked

We returned it as it would unlock itself.

Installed the lock and it worked great. For 3 weeks. It would automatically lock by itself after unlocking. Tried to reaet and start over. Customer service was no help. It could be something i did. But technical support was impossible to get through.
