Simple to install (assuming you already have a hole in your countertop) and works exactly as advertised. One note, I did need an adaptor to hook my under-sink water supply to the included compression fitting (a reducer was needed). Not a big deal, but be aware or you may need an extra trip to Home Depot. I used a 3/8" Female to 1/4" Female reducer. If you don't have an available cold water compression outlet under your sink, you will also need a T fitting to split the output.

I replaced my old unit with this one and it does not swivel like advertised. I had plumber take out old one and replace with this one. It still heats water great but I was disappointed description was wrong. Plumber cost enough so I did not want to replace unit and have them come back. I’m stuck with unit that want swivel.

I love having the instant hot water.

This is a replacement. I'd have given it 5 stars since we live using it so much but I dropped a star since our last one-same brand-only lasted 5 years. I would have expected longer. Also, this model doesn't allow for continuous streaming of cold water which is not as useful when filling up pitchers. So this model faucet loses a star for that feature

Love this Instahot water dispenser. We had one installed in our previous house, and it was one of the first things we added to our new location. I use it for many things and can't imagine being without one.

This unit was a perfect replacement for a previous one. The installation is very easy and clearly described in the instructions. The unit provides instant hot water at the proper temperature. In addition, the spigot and controls matches quite well with our existing kitchen faucet. Excellent product.

stay away from this model faucet

Tomorrow service is going to replace my second faucet in two months. Terrible quality. Save your hard earned money and pick a different faucet. I wish I can exchange for different model but In stink er rator only will replace same model. horrible quality and leaks hot water.

I'm rebuying this system for a friend, it gives instant filtered hot and cold water. The only problem is that the filters are expensive and my family uses this systems daily above the average use so the filter lasted less the amount of time it suggested.

Wife and I got this for our morning tea and oatmeal. This is not an easy DIY job, especially if you need to drill through granite as we did, so we hired out to a plumber. The Home Essentials Direct professional fell through so we hired independently. Took him 30 minutes but cost us an extra $250. Also had to rework the utilities to allow our garbage disposal and this to work simultaneously. With that said, you wouldn't need water hotter than this. You can't run your finger under it for more than a second, and it almost makes the tea/oatmeal water TOO hot (but it's adjustable). It's also a fairly handsome faucet design. Been using it for a month - no reliability issues. Great buy at a great price.

We had a similar Emerson hot water dispenser for 20+ years. When it failed, we replaced it with the InSinkErator unit. It was a relatively easy replacement - it even used the same mounting bracket. We used a plumber to do the replacement due to the confined space under the sink. The only issue he had was that the supply line was too short. He was able to make an extension for the line. We are very pleased with the new unit. We like the new lever style water valve. It is easier to use than the old Emerson style knob.

This is a much better product than the Hot One it replaces. The faucet is a much better design and controls cold water in rather than hot water out from the tank. It has a double wall spout which does not get hot. The one issue I had is that the neck is a larger-diameter. I had to spend quite a while with a file to make the hole bigger in my granite countertop. Overall I am quite satisfied.

You can't actually set the temperature of the water as high as 210 degrees F. You're lucky if you get 200. The default setting from the factory is actually 185 deg. F. (InSinkErator says this is 200 deg. F. -- nope, not correct). The factory setting (as noted in the manual) is when the temperature dial is set to the second dot from the right.

Product as i expected. I am giving this a 4 star for the following reason. I had a InSinkErator hot water heater that went out. This was the replacement. The copper line on the new one was very short. My old copper line was easily 5 inches longer. The shorter copper line made it very difficult to add to my water spigot. Also, you will be making a trip to Lowes or Home depot. It doesn't come with the t valve or the copper compression fitting. They really should add those fittings to this product.
