Great look. However with it being a straight handle, it sags a little bit and it is obvious if you install it perfectly horizontal it will rest in a position slightly less than horizontal. You have to install slightly above horizontal for it to rest at horizontal. If you have OCD this will drive you nuts. The color is great and durable after 10 months of use on the handles. However, the color gets scraped off the strikes where the latch catches it.

High quality and great look!

Just bought this to replace an old worn out bronze knob. Very impressed with ease of install and professional look. Now I’ll replace the rest of the house!

Super easy install!

This door handle is a very sleek addition to the room. The installation was quick and easy and the QR code that lead to videos of installation really helped! Definitely will purchase more in the future.

Simple and easy!

We replaced our interior doors and have been extremely happy with our door hardware. The handles were easy to install and look great. They are well made and should hold up to everyday use.

Changed the whole house to matte black latitude

Love these. Solid levers. They just work forever. Avoid every other off brand.

It works great

The installation is easy and very similar to other products. I will say this uses the square axel design turn instead of the half moon curve. It was super easy to install with good directions. I wish the handle was a little more tightly held to the guts.

Low standard of quality these days.

Look decent, not too expensive- poorly made. I would never recommend these to a quality builder. A lot of play in the handle that cannot be corrected, poor alignment of screw holes- subsequently destroyed part of the finish during installation.

Perfect color and finish to complete the look!

We just had a complete kitchen remodel and we used these handles on adjacent bedroom and basement doors. They look amazing with our black and white kitchen theme.

High end look

Solid mechanical movement/feel. Beautiful look. I like them better than the round knobs and look more modern than the curved lever knobs.

Simple but elegant design

This is not the first schlage we bought from them and won't be the last. The one we bought is a black lever handle without a privacy feature. Simple and smooth to install.

Oil-rubbed bronize finish is almost matte black.

The reason for the 1-start review is only the finish. The door handle itself was top-quality. But I ordered the oil-rubbed bronze finish and it was almost the same as the matte black finish. And it didn't have any of the "rubbed" colorization in it.

My old door looks like a new door. The hardware is not only beautiful but functions perfectly.

Wonderful customer service

Ordered two of these in brass. I have a couple of black doors in my house and I did this style in black on my white doors but needed brass for my black doors. Build was the only place offering this style in black. I was thrilled. Ordered two and when they came they had these strange dents all around the perimeter. I called and sent pics and they sent me two more which quickly arrived dent free. Customer service was GREAT. I am an interior designer and I use Build a lot for my clients. If there is ever a problem, they solve it immediately with 100% customer satisfaction. I will continue to work with this company for many years to come. Great service and great products.

Great Product. Durable.

I have been buying Schlage for all of my projects at home and professionally. They are easy to install, look great, and come in a variety of options. People ask about cheaper options, but I recommend going with a nice brand to get a quality product. Those cheap handles break with normal wear and tear, but not these.

Weird defect on rose plate

Horrible indentation on the rose plate of all 21 door knobs. If you have an eye for detail and hate stuff like that, don't buy these. Schlage says it's necessary to grip the rose plate to the iron plate behind it. Never seen a door knob like that before. They look horrible. That should be disclosed in the description with photos.

Love our new door handles!

We just bought these Matte Black Schlage handles to replace the dated bright brass ones. We love the look! We are going to replace every door handle in our home with these Matte black latitude levers! Such a big improvement! We highly recommend for the look, quality and price! 5 stars!!

Great look and function-18 more to go!!

Today we installed the first two door handles on the wood and glass doors that go into our four season sunroom. We had old bright brass on them and the new matte black handles change the look of the doors, making them look so much better. They feel solid and the new handles function smooth. Winning the gift card would help pay the expense for purchasing 18 more Schlage door handles. I can’t wait to see the finished result with all the bright brass being replaced with matte black finishes.

Good door lever

I had these in chrome in my home. Switched all of them to Mayte black. Super nice, clean, modern look! Overall awesome handle. I wish these exact ones came with a square back and I would have purchased those instead. The round is a bit dated for 2023. Very study door levers! Never had one issue except to change them all from chrome to Mayte black is $$$$$. Thanks SCHLAGE as the only product I trust for my home!
