2nd fan purchased Hunter Fan 44 inch Contemporary Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote. AS ALWAYS LOOK NEW WORK GREAT

Item was in great condition being factory reconditioned. Seemed like many new parts. I decided to use a dedicated light and fan control switch instead of the remote which causes an unacceptable delay in the lights turning on if you use your wall switch for turning the light on and remote for fan. You need to use remote for both light and fan or hardwire a separate fan switch.

The fans were easy to install, move a lot of air, and we are happy with the look and design. However, one of the fans is making a low humming noise which we hope doesn’t get worse so as to cause us to replace it.

You can't replace the glass

To replace the glass you need to buy an $80 new fitter housing unit. Hunter doesn't sell just the glass. Our glass shook lose and shattered-but we don't need a new "fitter". This is from Hunter customer service info. I have no issue with Home Depot on this as it isn't there policy that is the issue.

Simple installation, quiet and moves a lot of air.

Loved it but only lasted 5 years

I got this Fan on January 2018 and it recently stopped working (5yrs). I did loved it because the airflow was great for my bedroom. It was quiet and I loved the option of dimming the lights when holding it down and the different speed on its remote control. Easy to clean. I just wished it didn’t stopped working so soon I was hoping I bought a fan that would last me more than 10 years at least. We checked if it was the remote control batteries but it wasn’t. As soon as you tried turning on the light it will flash once and not turn back on. We checked light bulbs it wasn’t either. The fan won’t even turn on at all.

Average look. Gets the job done for a guest room

Perfect addition to my living room. Very quiet. Choice of 3 speeds.

Hunter sent the wrong fan

Hunter sent my fan with the wrong finish. Since I was away, I had the fan installed. When I returned I discovered their mistake. I’ll keep the fan, but I won’t order another one.

Paid a professional electrician to install this fan. The receiver is defective. I tried for two days to contact Hunter fan Company. They do not care that I paid $ 400.00 to install a defective fan. I was told to return the defective fan after it was installed on a 17 foot ceiling. DO NOT BUY anything from this Company. I am contacting consumer protection in my state . I was put on a 50 minute hold waiting for customer service. What a disaster. I sent Hunter fan 10 email messages. Trying to get installation cost refund. No customer service .Fan will not function without a receiver.

Brand new and the light is blinking on and off randomly. Need to remove and reinstall another brand. Not happy.

Faulty Receivers

Caution - purchased 4 of these fans for our new build home. Three of them have faulty receivers that causes them to turn off and then back on quickly on its own. Looking at other comments across their website and big box stores, it seems like this is a recurring issue. Contacted support and told me they were only covered under a one year parts warranty and told me I would need to buy replacement receivers. If 3 of them failed, why would I spend more money to buy the same part. Needless to say, we will not be doing business with Hunter again.

Just the look we were going for.

Ceiling fan is good. Instructions are good. Battery in the remote was dead dead dead. Spent a couple of hours trying to figure out why the fan wouldn’t work.

I noticed the price was reduced after I bought mine fan. Was not too happy

The fan arrive in time without any damage on the product. I have not installed the fan yet but looking forward to install and hope it will have any issue

Fan is very attractive and provides good light and airflow - nice upgrade from the fan provided by the builder.

Awkward remote switch and the light cover looks like cheap plastic
