Overall, nice

Overall, I really like this robot. It avoids things and rarely gets stuck. I have it scheduled to run every other day which is great. I like the mop feature, but I am not sure how clean it really gets the floors. I will say the brush roll is NOT self-cleaning. I have to clean the trapped hair from the roller. My only complaint is that the side brush loses it's bristles and I have had to replace the whole thing more than once. I did see someone recommended a little hot glue or Elmer's glue to hold them in but that should not be necessary.

I love that the mop is actually effective. I especially love Matrix mopping and vacuuming. I love that the filter is cleanable instead of consumable.

Awesome

I waited a long time to get a robot cleaner and I’m glad I did. This one meets my requirements. I have only used this 3 times but it is fantastic with the mopping, (My main reason for purchase) I have about 800 sq ft in a combined living, dining, kitchen, entry and small hall way (all LVP) that is mapped to clean and it just barely has enough solution in the tank to do it all on middle setting. I filled it up and ran it again just because I could. I clean out all of the dining chairs, bar stools, floor lamp and anything else that I can push into a closet. While mapping I saw her going around the chair legs under the table so I opted to get them out of the way. Still easier than doing vacuuming and mopping. It does a beautiful job. I highly recommend this Shark Matrix 2-in-1. Only time will tell how well it lasts.

I Would Not Buy Model# RV2610WA

This vacuum is underwhelming. We've had Shark vacuums for years. We've always liked them so when we decided we wanted a Robot-vacuum, we would buy a brand we've come to trust. We purchased our 2 in 1 model# RV2610WA in March 2024. I wanted to evaluate the unit fully before writing a review.

[Rewarded Review] Good, not great. Needs better software to shine

TLDR: The deduction of stars for this product are due to issues that are software related. From a hardware perspective, I feel this unit is a great value at this price point. It performs well when the software doesn’t get in the way. The inflexibility and tediousness in customizing the map, the tendency for the configuration to deteriorate over time (prompting new remapping headaches), and the “it’s-almost-so-asinine-it-must-be-intentional” lack of scheduling flexibility bring a 5-star kit of hardware down to 3-stars. I’m already looking at what I’ll buy when this thing breaks or becomes intolerable, and it won’t be this.

Gets lost, saved rooms disappear!

I really was hoping that it would be “smart”, it is one reason I chose this unit. It is slightly smarter than a brick. It gets lost when entering a room that has a partially open door, it pushes the door closed and then gets trapped behind it. I have to install wedges every time to stop it. You could close the door or fully open it, but you have to remember to do it every time. It can get high centered in a sloping chair or table leg, and that also damages the thin flap in the collection cover . When lost, it signals for help. If you are not around it just sits there and the battery goes dead. When that happens all the saved rooms, boundaries and no-go areas are LOST TOO, with NO way to get them back. The data should be saved in the dock or the Cloud so they can be restored.

Easy breezy cleaning

So far after having the first one replaced within a few months of purchase I’m living the ease that this machine makes for my cleaning routine. I like that I can map the home and the. When desired only clean specific rooms instead of the whole house if desired. I appreciate that it does not leave a slippery environment as it cleans. You will need to babysit at times when it goes completely quiet and you’re not watching your app because it more than likely stuck some where. Overall I love that customer service assisted me without delay and when needing to replace the unit it was done without hassle. I’ll continue to assess the longevity of it but, for now I’m loving it!!

Frustrating

I have owned so many of these Shark Robot Vacuums (and Shark products-hand held vacuum, steam mops, etc), I think I am on my 7/8th Shark ROBOT. I have finally learned. Keep in mind I have not bought 7/8; I'll buy one and it breaks within a year and I get a replacement. I am on my 3rd one purchased.

MOP IS ONLY FOR SPOT CLEANING!!??

It's OK, not great. Definitely room for improvement. The vacuum struggles to pick up some stuff even on max strength. My biggest disappointment is the mop function cannot be done on an entire room or area. Only for spot cleaning and max of 5x5 area. I was stoked to get this to vacuum and mop for me but I'm heavily considering send it back and checking other options. This is NOT worth $699. Luckily I got it on sale. Considering not the sad mop function really it's vacuum only for entire house. The battery life is not good either. It took 50% charge worth just to clean our kitchen/dining area in our apartment.

It's good for getting a basic clean but definitely has some room for improvement. It took 50% of battery just to clean our kitchen dining area in our apartment. You have to swap out the vacuum and mop pieces which I didn't realize. Misses stuff quit often. Hopefully it learns more as it runs over time. Was super excited and luckily got it on sale. It's definitely not worth $699.00. Overall it helps clean up daily and saves me time. We have 3 cats for It's nice the hair can get picked up multiple times a day now. I wouldn'tuse on regularcarpet. Its just not that great. Good for hard floors..

Liked it at first, but wears out way too quickly

I was impressed at first, not as good as a regular vacuum or mop but helped me feel like my house was clean during the week. I have teenage boys, dogs and a couple cats that come inside to eat or on rainy days. So I use this everyday almost, to vacuum the main parts of my house. However, I haven’t even had it 6 months and it sounds horrible. I have had to replace the sweep/side brush and now have to replace the roll brush bc the rubber “fins” are breaking at the hard plastic roll part. It is not sucking up the hair, but pushing it around. And what it does suck up, doesn’t empty out it get stuck between the roller area and “dust bin.” Or in the tunnel between the dust bin and base dust bin. I also feel like this would be SO much better if it had 2 side brushes instead of just the 1. The mop feature is ok, if you don’t use but a minuscule amount of cleaner. It is a little bad to just push the dog hair into a pile too now though too. I probably won’t go back with Shark when this craps out. For as much as I spent on it ($600) it should last much longer than 4-5 months.

I’ve had this for about a month now and I’m really loving it! It did a pretty accurate map of my house and seems to have really good suction on both carpet and hardwood. I have 2 cats so I run the vacuum 4 times a week and the mop at least twice a week. Mopping does require you to swap the attachment which I didn’t realize til I got it but I kinda like that now that I’ve been using it. I was really impressed with the mop and how well it does. My floors feel really clean afterwards. The app also does a really good job at walking you through everything about setup/usage. The initial setup does take a while but after that it’s very easy to use.

So impressed by this vacuum. The initial mapping of the cleaning area took barely any time at all. I love being able to choose the areas I want the vacuum to clean on the app. The vacuum does a great job and is so quiet. The wheels look like mini all-terrain wheels, it can go over small obstacles and still clean. I have a stone bath mat and he goes right over it with no problem. If it gets stuck, the app will give me a notification and if I can’t find the vacuum, through the app I can ask it to make a sound so I can find it. Very happy and impressed with this purchase.

I have had a Roomba for years. It always got stuck or ran over things it shouldnt and even could not get itself back to home base to charge. I gave up on it. I went looking for something new. I compared all the products out there and decided to give this lil guy a shot. At first I could not get it working with my wifi. Come to find out it did not work with my particular router because it could only be used on 2.4 GHz. My router is Eero and has the capability of running 2.4 GHz to enable the device to be connected. Long story short, I had to make a seperate connections and the name had to be in all lower case for this vacuum to connect. After a week of that debacle it works great every day. I am able to keep it on a daily schedule that I want it to run and it picks up everything. I have 3 hairy dogs and I was having a hard time keeping up during the week with all of the hair mess. Anyway, I am amazed at all the hair that is collected it the separate bin. The mopping function works pretty good. Manual mopping the floor myself of course is always going to be more efficient. But for a robot it doesnt do too bad of a job. I sometimes run it on mop in the middle of the week just to clean up a lil. You can map out the area to make sure it does not mop on carpeted areas. The price cant be beat for all that it does.

Waste of money

I have had this unit for over a year and am so sorry I bought it. From the beginning there were many things it did not pick up ... small pieces of cotton batting, a feather, tiny pieces of paper, but since this was my first robot I thought it was better than nothing. I tried to return it a month in and was given so much runaround that I gave up and decided it would at least help with cat hair and litter on the hard floors. It makes beautiful stripes on the carpet but honestly picks up nothing.

Do not purchase

i bought this product in dec 2023. First it worked ok but then started seeing issues. It won't pick up dirt from all spots. Missed many spots. The suction sucked. Call the customer care and they saw the performance on video and agreed to send the replacement body. But they sent a wrong body. Our original body was Shark AI Ultra Robot 2 in 1 vac and mop. and what we got was Shark robotic vacuum cleaner. It was a downgrade. Call the customer care again and they kept arguing that its the same product even when they saw it on live video. Call was even escalated to the manager who cut the call while i was expressing my frustration. Horrible customer service. now i am stuck with a bad product. Do not buy.

I was actually upgraded to this one. Sadly I prefer my other model of Vac-Mop.
