Unresooved issues

This is my second shark robot vacuum. I gave my first self-emptying vacuum to my son. The mapping and app have not improved at all. I got my instructions from YouTube. The mopping caused a problem with the side wheel and there is no assistance to fix it.

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. This Shark robot vacuum was fairly simple to set up, with just a few easy steps. The base was also very easy to assemble and attach other parts to. The Shark Clean app that goes with this product made it quick and easy to pair the vacuum with my phone. However, I had a few issues after that, with the app being sluggish and unresponsive during actual cleaning. I kept getting an error for the fluid reservoir being empty as well, even though I filled the water tank during set up like I was supposed to. Because of that, I haven't been able to try the mop function yet, which is kind of disappointing. Fortunately, the dry vacuum function works great and left my floors looking the best they have in months. This vacuum does an amazing job of figuring out where obstacles are and avoiding them too. It truly seemed to be mapping out the layout of my house and remembering it. Additionally, I absolutely love that the robot vacuum requires so little and maintenance and input. You can just set the vacuum to start cleaning through the app or buttons on the vacuum itself and do other activities while it cleans. I think this will be a huge time/energy saver for my household, and I'm excited to continue using it.

I’ve officially had this shark robot for a month to be able to give it a truthful honest review. I 100% recommend this robot. It does it all for you, it’s so easy to switch on the vacuum into a mop head. They have so many amazing features, my two favorite ones is the way it lifts itself up to get around certain objects (over rugs while mopping) and the air push feature (gets all the debris and crumbs out from corners to be able to vacuum). It adjusts to many different floors tiles, carpets, hardwood. It definitely is a lifesaver when you have multiple people in and outside of the house. Lifesaver.

This product is so good and saves me so much time. I used to have a robot that swept only from a different brand and it would leave dirt behind that I would have to sweep then bust out the mop. With the schedule I have and the robot being able to do both it does an amazing job at both sweeping and mopping. Love the product

[Rewarded Review] Works fine, but won‘t connect to WiFi

The Shark robot vacuum vacuums well, fits under or in-between most of our furniture, is not too loud, and looks classy. Our floors are not supposed to be mopped wet, so I can’t review the mopping feature. Unfortunately, it does not connect to the WiFi at all. We’ve tried this countless times with different phones, as well as WiFi networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), but it never passes the „configuring robot“ stage which is right after you enter your WiFi information. The app finds it via Bluetooth, but can not finish the configuration. Therefore, the robot is not able to save our floor map and will explore the space it is vacuuming all over every time we turn it on which means a lot of battery life is lost on the vacuum trying to find corners, etc. It also never leaves the room it was turned on in since we can’t add more rooms through the app. I haven’t reached out to customer service yet since I’m assuming we don’t have a warranty as a recipient of the item for free through Influenster. The robot is still usable when turned on manually as long as it is kept in the same room.

[Rewarded Review] Great Innovation yet pricey

My overall experience was very positive! I live the convenience of the self-charging, self-filling and self-emptying features to make the full vacuuming experience seamless and easy to manage. It does everything for me! When the device mops, it doesn't actually touch the carpet since it's raised, protecting my expensive carpets. I also love the room customization/ memorization and spot cleaning calabilities. However, I don't like how I can only have one floor in the map, so it would be great for a software update allowing multiple map capabilities but overall I love this device!!

I am a LONG time Shark fan, so getting a chance to test out a Shark robot vacuum was actually a bit of a dream come true. We just bought a new house and had the floors redone and kitty litter was getting EVERYWHERE, as it does. This little vacuum sucks it all up, and mops! (I was skeptical until I saw the dirty mop water, see pic). I loved it so much I bought a second Shark robot vacuum (same power detector brand) for upstairs hahaha. The app is easy to use, customizable as to whole floor or room. You can draw off sections for rooms or ‘no go’ areas. As we moved in, it even learned to clean areas previously it didn’t have access to. The never stuck works amazing. I don’t think it’s terribly loud, even my cats aren’t afraid of it.. though confused at first maybe. My only feedback is I wish I could customize more options on the schedule vs just 1 time for the whole floor as there are some rooms that need more frequent vacuuming. Also, there are some scuff marks along the sides now from the few times it’s turned a bit too close to a baseboard (though this is rare).

It’s nice but not great.

I switched to shark from another brand and there are two things I miss about my old robot vacuum 1) the battery life was much better. I cannot get a full 60 minutes of vacuum of hardwood from the shark without it needing to recharge. My old vacuum could do my entire 1700 sq ft of hardwood with 75% battery remaining. 2) I have notifications on and I do not get any notifications or the report of completion until the next day when I go into the app.

Very easy to put together. The mop extends to help reach edges and overall it isn’t too loud. I like that it connects to WiFi and learns your home to clean across surface areas. The app is user friendly as well. The battery life is great and can last a while before needing to be charged. The overall maintenance is easy and a great addition to the home especially if you have a busy schedule away from home.

Vacuum works well, not a huge fan of electronic home items as I don’t trust them as they listen into people’s private conversations same with Alexa etc. but this vacuum does the job.

Disappointed

Purchased few weeks ago. Mop fluid container now leaking big puddle everywhere. Unit (via the app) is reporting to call customer support for assistance. Disappointed that we are having an issue so soon after purchase.

Garbage

Read the reviews carefully & you’ll notice every single positive review is from someone paid to post a positive review. My vacuum had issues from the very first “mapping” trip. It couldn’t get itself off of the dock because the motor meant to pick the mop pad up was malfunctioning. It then attempted to map my house with clunky & imprecise movement. It kept bumping into everything & taking a long time to clear. After mapping was complete, it couldn’t find the charging base for 10-15 minutes. Once mapping was complete, it started having issues with getting off the base again. Will be returning.

Had a problem with detaching the mop pad the first day but is doing great now. Can't give 5 stars because of the initial problem.

Chummy does such a great job of mopping our floors and vacuuming our carpets. I could never believe one of these would do such great work.
