This chair seems to be very sturdy and well constructed. However, the finish/sealer on the wood seems to be almost non existent. After only two or three showers the wood was water stained and beginning to be checked. I removed the wood, sanded and finished it with teak oil, and now it looks great! It should have looked like this when purchased without my having to refinish it.

We just had the shower seat installed into our home we just bought and had a tile walk in shower with the Moen shower seat..I love the looks of it and the color…its sturdy and two neighbors asked what it was and where I got it…they want it in their new walk in showers too…love it so far!

Handy Seat

I have used these on 2 showers recently. They are such a convenient way to add a safety feature when redoing a shower.

This product was very disappointing, especially for the price. In between each slat you could feel the wood was not sanded & sitting on might cause slivers. I returned it.

Very happy with this chair, price was competitive and delivery was great. Was surprised at how sturdy it is. Our contractor had recommended it and he was right!

A well-built sturdy seat. It has a back on it which homeowners love because it keeps their backs from touching cold damp walls. This is my go-to for folding seats.
