I liked it, but had nothing but problems with it, first the coffee pot would spill all over the place when we poured our coffee, kuerig sent me a replacement then this morning it stopped working and would not turn on, i sent it back and got a refund issued back. You can try your luck if you want, i only had it for 2 weeks nothing but problems. So i went and got a Hamilton Beach trio flex brew
Makes great coffee.
Makes a great cup of coffee. Like the reservoir and filter.
Just ok
This coffee maker looks nice, and brews the coffee quickly and nice and hot. I like the full pot or single cup option. However, the full pot coffee it brews is on the weak side. Maybe because it brews so quickly? I end up having to use about twice as much coffee as I normally would. Also, the carafe dribbles terribly when pouring.
Excellent machine with only minor flaws
This model is well designed from a functional and aesthetic perspective. Features and components are logically positioned and easy to use and clean. The Duo aspect provides for great versatility and the coffee from both systems tastes great. The only minor opportunities for improvement from my perspective are:
Coffee grounds make such a mess everyday!
The part of the coffee maker that distributes eater into the basket is covered with coffee grounds everyday. We’ve only had it for about 2 weeks, we’ve tried different filters and different amounts of coffee in the basket, and it still happens. It’s a mess to clean up everyday. I also don’t like that you can’t use the “strong” feature to make a full pot - only for the Kcuo side.
Only 1 issue so far
I love this coffee maker but have found 1 issue with it so far. I set the auto option for it to brew automatically every morning but after a couple of days the auto feature turns off after it brews every morning and I have to reset it everyday now. Not happy with that as it's not really an auto feature if it the auto feature does not stay on.
Better design
No complaints so far, makes good coffee quickly. Bought this to replace a different model Keurig that lid broke after about a year, after putting a K cup in the lid would not stay closed. This was the same issue we had with the exact same model we purchased before that one. This time we decided to change models and the closing mechanism is different on this model so we hope this one will last more than one year.
Misleading color/useless customer service
Bought hoping to have more of a stainless steel color but the color was more of a flat grey.... customer service reps I spoke to sucked. Couldn't get an exchange for the black keurig duo. Had to do a return. Pay out of pocket. Can't understand many reps I spoke to. Return seemed like a hassle to get done, which is crazy coming from Keurig.. the source. The main hub. You'd think it was better customer service. Better workaround to ensure happy customers. Anyway, dropped the keurig duo off at post office and rather buy from a store that I can physically return if there was an issue than to deal with Keurig themselves.
Better than the rest.
I’ve had other dual coffee makers. This one is by far the best. It has options and is easy to use. It makes excellent coffee. I use cream in my coffee and many other makers don’t make the coffee hot enough and once I add the cream I get lukewarm coffee. Not this machine, the coffee is hot and stands up to the cream.
Great looking
Very good This is beautiful and easy to use. It is a little taller than my previous one, so I have to to pull it out to raise the pod lid. I use a clear cutting board - it works great. We love the look and functionality.
[Rewarded Review] Great overall
Overall this is a great coffee maker with one exception for me its very to get the coffee to pour from the carafe without making a mess. I've several coffee makers and have had this problem. The other functions of at the maker are great and I always use purified water for a better flavor.
Time will tell
I only gave a 3 star. It seems, to be working ok for now. Not sure about its its longevity. This is my 3rd keriug in 10 years. It seems, as tho no keriug last over 2 years, maybe 3 years. Poor mechanics.
I am so happy with this purchase. Ill never go back to my old style coffee maker after using this Keurig K. Its got everything! It has a coffee pot for the family and a single serve for the days when only I want a cup of coffee. The water container in the back is so easy to fill and clean. I love this coffee maker, special edition. Thank you Wayfair!
I love this coffee maker it offers the best of both worlds! Use a K cup if you’re on the go or brew a pot to share! It’s easy to clean and has become a household staple in our home! No more dragging out multiple coffee makers. The only thing is the carafe can be leaky which is annoying. I called and got a replacement and the replacement is also leaky. But I’m willing to wipe up a couple of coffee spots of the counter to use this coffee maker.
Duo and longevity
The coffee maker is new—so all good—as you would expect with a new product. Last maker (same model Duo as recent purchase) lasted only 13 months—just outside the warranty period. I was disappointed in the longevity of the maker. We may switch to a different product unless this one lasts longer. Hopefully we get a longer life from this machine than the last.
The best of both worlds! I am able to brew a quick K-cup through the week when I’m in a hurry or a whole pot on slow weekends. Great to have the coffee pot option for when we have company and parties. Brews quickly. Has a timer that you can set. Multiple size options for both the K-cups and pot. It’s also a beautiful coffee machine. Love the aesthetic for my kitchen!
Problem with carafe
I really like the coffee maker, but the pot leaks all over the counter when you pour a cup. A new pot was sent to us which did the same thing. It is a poor design as I saw others with the same problem. We ended up buying a generic replacement pot that works. Like the coffee maker but this was annoying!
Awesome coffee pot!
Love our Duo Kurtis coffee pot! The ability to make a pot of coffee when you need it or just a single cup of coffee is awesome! I also love that while this coffee machine is attractive and stylish, it has a smaller footprint thereby freeing up my counter space.
[Rewarded Review] Just about perfect
Fits our needs perfectly. We appreciate that one reservoir supplies both the pot and single cup unlike our old one that required filling a separate reservoir for each function. Easy to clean.
Duo is a Winner!
I purchased my Duo a few weeks ago after my first Duo died. I had that Duo for many years and it gave good service, so I decided to purchase another one. The new Duo is even better with simple prompts and a better engineered design. I get a great coffee in the morning from my Duo.
