Watch for quality control issues; otherwise very good
My review concerns the 3.1" diameter strainer. To start, there have been some quality control issues. The first strainer I received had small scrapes on the double rods connecting the handle to the strainer basket. The second strainer had what appeared to be a slight manufacturing defect in the mesh about 1/2" long. Basically, one thin wire was warped slightly downward instead of continuing in a uniform direction. This caused the openings in the mesh to be larger than intended. (I recommend inspecting the mesh against a bright light source.) The third strainer is acceptable for quality consistency. There are still slightly larger holes in about the same place, but they're not as big as seen in the second strainer.
