Lark Simon Wall Light

I like the shape, size and style of this wall light a lot. I put them as accent lights over shelving in my kitchen. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the white interior. The white is too stark when you have them hung higher up as I do. I just tilted the shade back a tiny bit and that seems to look better. They would be fine if hung lower like above a bedside table.

Nice size black finish light. Mounts to a standard round box but oddly it plugs in to an outlet. Switch is on the cord so you can't hard wire unless box is on a switch. The bulb required is small base candelabra . Since the shade is open I wouldn't suggest a bright bulb. Good as a small task light. We have it mounted in our craft room. Wife likes the swivel.

Worth the long wait. Ordered 2 added items and same thing each time. Not in stock???? Back order??? Never notified when it finally shipped. Surprise! And we are NOT always in town.

Can't install as plug in; nonstandard bulbs

First of all this can't be installed as a plug in fixture out of the box. You need an on-wall round electrical box for both safety and fitting the thing on the wall, or else the wires prevent installation. If you plan to hardwire it that's no problem since you need a box anyway. But if you were planning to hang it up, plug in and go, you can't.
