Lid isn’t secure and questionable quality.

Lid uses friction from a silicone seal around the lid to sit in place. I worry about the lid falling out when pouring. Also I don’t know if any 3rd party testing like UL or CSA was done to make sure it’s safe to use in North America. Plugged it in and turned it on and smelled a burning plastic/metal smell right away so unplugged it and returned it. Seems when it’s plugged in it’s always essentially warming or ‘on’ all the time so be careful with these kinds of products. Don’t recommend.

Comfortable weight and fast to heat up. Love the color. Safety features are really appreciated. Used it once and I feel converted to the electric tea pot and am confident it’s going to work well.

Great option for avoiding plastic!

Great electric water kettle. Especially if you are trying to avoid black plastic. Of all the options at Target, this one has ZERO built-in black plastic that comes in direct contact with boiling water, and the least amount of clear plastic of all the options that have a water level measure on the side (see photos). The only black plastic built in is far above the max water line, so it is not an issue in my opinion. I noticed the inside spout did have a black plastic piece that comes with it, but that is easily removable. The stainless steel wall of the kettle comes all the way to the top, and has holes right at the spout, so removing the black plastic piece does not affect the auto shut-off once the water reaches boiling point. See photos attached. I've noticed after removing the black plastic at the spout, the water does boil ~15 seconds longer than necessary, but it still triggers the auto shut-off. If you go this route, try it a few times to confirm it works for you before leaving it alone. Still boils water quickly and efficiently! Glad I spent a little extra for this!

Better than Smeg

Want a smeg kettle but don’t want to pay a fortune for a tea kettle then I would recommend this kettle. It comes in a pretty blue color and adds an extra pop to your kitchen counter. As far as functionality goes I’ve been using it for a month and so far have not run into any issues. It turns off automatically. Would recommend this versus the more designer colored kettles.

Half toasted toast

Look nice but kettle is very noisy and the toaster toasts on one side but hardly toasts on the other so have to turn the half cooked toast over to do the other side, disappointing for what they cost

Beautiful electric kettle

I really love this electric kettle. It looks beautiful in my kitchen. The light blue matched my decor and it’s light weight and works great. Whether I need a little water for a cup of tea, or a whole kettle for the French press, it works wonderfully. I want the other matching appliances now!

Classic kettle and a lovely shape and size.I love the colour it matches with the kitchen units. It boils really quickly and is quiet as my previous kettle was really noisy. Excellent value for money.The ordering service was excellent and on collection the staff were really helpful and fully explained the returns procedure.I was impressed.

This is a beautiful kettle! I love how easy it is to set up and use. The color is so pretty. The instructions are super easy to understand. I appreciate that it comes with a filter already installed, plus an extra one as back up. Would definitely recommend.

Almost perfect

I love this tea kettle. What I most love about it is that I can pour my tea leaves and the attached stopper will drain it for me. It’s a win win. It doesn’t take long to heat up. I have also use it to boil water. What I didn’t like is the color or the plug being too long. Other than that it’s almost perfect!

I love the style and color. It works well. The large opening top makes it easy to fill, My old kettle just couldn’t hit the right temps. I am so excited about having tea that is brewed perfectly. The water heats quickly. The kettle is aesthetically pleasing and looks great on my countertops. Helps me with drinking more water and tea. Boils water within couple of minutes. A must have for the cold weather. Very light weight when full so easy on this old lady's wrists.

Overall, I love this kettle and would recommend it. Great size, attractive shape and color. Very easy to use. Love that the water level is easy to see but not the center of the body. A couple picky items - the top doesn’t open quite enough for my kitchen faucet so I have to fill it in a weird angle. The top really has to be pushed down the latch. The directions don’t explain the filter attachment and I was surprised to find one already attached, so I guess I have two? Either way, it’s a great addition to my kitchen and hope that it is built to last.

Happy with my new kettle. A little noisy but it doesn’t really bother us. It’s darker than it appears on the website but a lovely shade of blue nonetheless!
