Too many flaws

The two illumination bulbs are good. The finish is good, however the hardware is incomplete and poorly designed.

I love the look of the Slim-Line picture lights

Although some may accuse me of being stuck in a rut, I love the contemporary styling of the Slim-Line picture lights from House of Troy. I have an extensive art collection, mostly 17th-early 19th century paintings, and I love the contrast of the contemporary look of the lights against the antique paintings. They provide good lighting to the art and they can be dimmed for a more dramatic effect, if desired. I highly recommend this product. They are a fabulous re-imagination of the traditional "Hogarth" light.

Slim, sexy design

I have been enjoying these picture lights for many years. Their minimal design allows the lighting of art without distracting the eye from the subject being illuminated

Sleek, discreet, and perfect lighting

This picture lamp is beautiful. Contemporary style. The antique brass finish blends in with the gold frame on our painting. Angle of light is adjustable so it provides the perfect lighting. Light fixture does not distract from the painting. Excellent quality. Ordered 15" light for a 24" frame.

Small, inconspicuous, well-crafted

The best and least conspicuous picture light. This model is suitable for a small painting. We paired it with a high CRI LED, rather than the standard incandescent bulb.

Clean looking light!

This light looks wonderful. I would have given it a 5 out of 5 if the LED lights were replaceable. After speaking directly with the manufacture they confirmed they cannot rebuild or replace the strip of LED lights. Please also note the plug isn't a flat plug so it sticks out from the wall more than the slim plugs do. You will need extra room behind your art if your outlet is directly behind your picture. A quick solution is to purchase a 1' extension cord that has a flat plug.

I should have returned it as soon as I saw it but didn't. The finish was supposed to be satin and it isn't it not as slim as pictured either. I would never purchase on line from you again.

elegant, if not complete, solution

I bought 3 different sizes of this picture light for various paintings. The shortest light arrived in the largest box without instructions - maybe a return? And one of the knurled knobs used to tighten the light height wasn't even machined. I ended up using a screw I had of the same size. The overall quality is okay, and once the paintings were hung, they looked fine.

really nice

the picture light is good quality for the money unfortunately, i had to return it since its placement behind a door didn't work. the light projected out too far and the door would have hit it. however, i highly recommend the light. really good quality, nice looking, easy to install the light projected out more than i wanted for my space

Sleek and modern

I purchased the black picture light to fill in a space with limited light and this did just as I anticipated. Easy to install (the fixture is adjustable as well)- I just anchored in the wall and plugged in! So easy. Looks great.

Picture looks awesome

This light works perfectly to light the art. I did not understand the directions but a friend was able to install the light for me pretty easily. I would have given it 5 stars except for the price. I plugged it into a Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Lighting Dimmer Switch and Remote Kit for Wall & Ceiling Lights and I am able to dim to whatever level I prefer with the remote. Simply plug the dimmer switch into the wall and plug in the light.

Door levers

We purchased these levers for remodeling project. We were surprised how heavy they were. Solid construction! It was very easy to install. Looks great and added modern feel to the front entry foyer.

I have owned these four years and had to buy an additional one. The quality is still there. I wouldn't try anything else.
