Easy Install

This pan is low-profile and exactly what I was looking for. I went with the black color to pop with the single side of my shower wall that will use patterned black and white tiles. I’m very happy with the end result.

Good quality. We ended up needing to return and order a base with only two sides with the wall threshold so just make sure you pay attention to the lip.

The shower base is good quality and sturdy. We found it easy to install with the directions given. One caveat-the drain is not dead centered so label on packaging is misleading. Centered side to side but not centered from front to back.

I read in previous reviews that the drain is not in the middle. Due to this fact l called customer service and inquired. The reply was: " if it says it's in the middle, then it is in the middle". So l trusted that comment and ordered. Well, the fact is, that the drain is NOT in the middle. It will be a lot more work to get this all adjusted. We'll find out, once it will be installed, within the next couple of weeks.

Excellent quality.

Some people have complained that the drain is not centered exactly. My base is a replacement, so the drain was already in and didn't line up with the new drain hole. My plumber moved the drain a few inches to accommodate this pan in about 10 minutes. Shouldn't be a big deal in most cases.

Great pan that checks the Price, & Quality boxes

I, my contractor, my plumber all love this shower base. I appreciate the clean, simple lines, the "heft" of the pan itself (it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like some of the pans you will find at the box stores). Both the contractor and plumber agreed with the quality of the pan and the ability to plumb and set it easily. It is solid.

Thought it was odd the drain wasn't centered, but, for my purposes, and where the floor joists were, this lined up PERFECTLY! First one came heavily damaged with cracks, but Wayfair being Wayfair, did what they did, and got me a new one in no time. It was just what I needed, especially for NOT doing a custom Shower pan - so, very happy with it! :)

Very durable. We've dealt with other shower pans that don't hold up. This one is stronger and sound when installed per instructions. We feel no flex when standing on it. Very pleased so far. Thanks!

Easy, simple, clean and modern looking shower base

Bought this to go with the dreamline 36x36 shower enclosure. This combination works well for highlighting a great tile choice and great custom tile work. Be mindful that this shower pan is for an alcove instaltion. Had to return and exchange it for one that was made for two sided wall instalation.

I had plumbers and drywallers standing on my shower base and commenting on it's sturdiness. It never popped or moved while they stood on it working on my shower walls. The plumber did have to move our drain even though the space measured 36x36. That cost a bit more but I am happy with the product.

Finally a Good 36x36 Shower Base

I had to return several 36x36 bases before getting this one. Others had poor quality or were not have good tolerances on the dimensions. This bases finally was good quality and was truly 36x36.

Please include in your description that the "Center Drain" is not actually center. You've obviously had this exact review multiple times. Why would you make a square shower base and have the drain 3 in off center in one direction? A stupid design in my opinion, but whatever i'm returning it. I wanted this shower base because of the clean lines and squared look, definitely seems like a solid base for the money from my inspection when I opened the box to ensure measurements. Again, I cant stress enough how poor of a design this is, why on earth you would place the drain off center in the depth direction is beyond me. I did mark "Yes" to recommending the product due to the clean lines and sturdy construction, but you'll need to move your shower head and valve or have a goofy, misplaced looking drain which doesn't line up with your hardware if you're in to that sort of thing.

Great shower base

I bought this base for a tub to shower conversion. The contractor had no issues with the base installation, and so far it has functioned very well. This was installed on a slab, and the contractor filled the void under the base with with concrete to insure stability. The texture improves stability, and the low threshold is great. It has only been installed for a few months, and I hope it will last for many years.

Abs?Acrylic Mix

This is not the same as an acrylic showerbase. It is of lesser quality. This base is softer than acrylic, you can almost scratch it with a sharp fingernail. ABS is the same plastic used for your plumbing drains (the black stuff). It is flexible, needs to be set in a massive bed of mortar. It is not as durable as an acrylic base reinforced with fiberglass. My .02. -20 year remodeler......

Gives a Custom Shower Look

Seems crazy, but I love this shower pan! Such a mundane item, but this is not your grandma's shower pan. Thin, sleek, and a great finish. Looks and works much better than tile! Drains perfectly. It leaves very little water in a few minutes after the shower. I could not be happier with this product. It is usually one of the first things that I show off to guests when we show them our home remodel.

Good Quality Shower Base

Solid and sturdy, with a good quality finish, this shower base is a very good product. I am adding a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms in the attic space over a 3 car garage, and was looking for a reasonably priced shower base. Dimensions listed in the specs are accurate, except the drain is not "centered"... it is centered left and right but is 15" from the back and 21" from the front. Had to move the drain pipe in order to install. Maybe I read the specs wrong online, but be aware of that. Otherwise, I recommend this product.
