It turns out that I didn't need the shower drain pan because my shower kit included a shower drain pan. The 1 star rating does not reflect the service or product by Wayfair (the prompts simply does not provide the answer I would give). Keith

We are renovating our downstairs bathroom and needed a shower pan. I saw this and thought ok let's try it. It came fast which was nice. It has a very heavy construction. I was disappointed that I had to set it in concrete and not to the structure. But that is a small concern. It was easy to install. I didn't add the drain before I set the pan so that was a little tricky to get it in without removing the pan. If I had really read the instructions I was have seen that I needed to add the drain to the pan first. Of well brain fart. Overall it works well for our needs

Overall this is a quality shower pan. The gel coat finish is smooth and shiny. Bottom has circular support columns to stiffen the base up. Our contractor still laid this base into mortar to produce a firm feel. Packaging is decent, but I reccomend carefully inspecting product for cosmetic damages caused in shipping.

Item left at a gate which is not close to my house, and definitely not in a secure safe place. For a disabled person to now have to lift the item and carry to the house was truly inconvenient and impossible since the item is heavy. Now I have to find someone to carry the item to my house. I am very disappointed in the delivery of item.

Solid Purchase

Solid base, well constructed, works well with many door options. This is my 7th Dreamline shower base and will continue to use them. Shipping was also perfect and quick. The base came in it's box and then packed in an outer box with foam between. Even though outer box was a little rough the base and inner box was in perfect condition

The DreamLine SlimLine Shower pan was very easy to install and handle. The only reason we gave it a 3 stars was ours had a chip in the corner of the lip that butts up against the Cement Board. Its not a deal breaker for us, we are currently doing a renovation and needed the shower pan so there was no need to return it. I ended up reinforcing that small chipped side and added some additional water-barrier protection just in case. Other than that good product for the price we paid. If you have the time though and it does come damaged, go ahead and send it back just so you get a good pristine product.

It seemed to be made well, however, I don't know how they determine, "center". I was told, by a professional plumbing supply, where I eventually bought a basin that fit, that outside of the U.S. the center is measured differently. For example, center in the U.S. is measured from absolute end to end, whereas center elsewhere is measured from inside the actual basin(minus the ledge for the shower doors). This did not fit and my alternative was to change the plumbing, which would have been way more expensive. I bought a basin from the plumbing supply(made in USA). The name is Mustee...out of Ohio, I believe.

Excellent Product

I replaced an old neo-angled shower. That pan was light and flimsy. This pan was very solid. You could feel it just in the weight of it. Very easy to install. I purchased this with the matching glass walls.

Impressed With The Quality

I was impressed with the quality of this shower pan. Heavy fiber glass that did not give when I (235lbs) walked on it before installing it. It was stout enough I contemplated not using the 1.5 inches of mortar underneath like the directions call for but went with the mortar just to be safe. Some of the support rings that are attached to the bottom were uneven heights (or my floor was not sure which), anyway I took a rasp to the center row to shorten them and level it up and stop it from a center high rock before I installed it. This is not one of those thin cheap units that come with a Styrofoam pad for the bottom and end up with hairline cracks and leaks, it seams to have adequate heft to last for a good long time. It takes some skill to be able to install it in a quality manor but but I feel sure this was a good choice.
