Cheap plastic screws. Failed first day. I returned the flag pole.

I was surprised that it came in a small box, but assembling was easy and different than my previous flagpoles. I mount mine on a large oak tree so the screws are not long enough to get through the bark and fasten to the wood. But for most folks, they should be fine if you're attaching to lumber. It was a late delivery to the store, but only over the weekend.

What a nice set up! Great pole and mount is solid. The winds have been up to 40mph and the whole set has been rugged and looks very nice!

These are the ONLY flag pole (ring accessories) I have ever found. The rings actually work! NO TANGLED UP FLAGS. I ordered more.

Pole could have been of a heavier gauge, same as my old one. Last one was not SS. Issue was with the lanyards-plastic, with plastic thumb screws. They wear out in nothing flat. Found some online made of metal. Should work better. The hooks that attach the flag are those cheap oblong key rings you get at all the hardware/Dollar store with a key department. The pole mount is metal. Seems pretty strong. I opted to use my old one that was already attached to my porch. Works fine. Will take the flag and pole down in high-hurricane wind. You get what you pay for. Except for the lanyard ... satisfied.

The stainless steel pole is great. The knob is not stainless but plastic. The plastic flag mounts do not accept the grommet on the flag, that is, too small. I ordered two poles. One pole kit did not have expansion anchors. The screws are stainless and soft. The philips head strips easily.

Short lived

Very nice set up. Plastic ring broke within a year. See photo. Pretty much worthless now until I figure something else out 😔.

This flagpole is really great. With the clips provided & the mount, it keeps the flag in place. I really like it and i am glad i purchased it through Home Depot.

Even with the spinning clips, there still a tendency to ‘wrap’ the flag around the pole.
