The second time I went to make toast, the knob fell off. its not worth the 22.00 plus tax! I got a defective product.

This toaster didn’t toast evenly which is literally all a toaster is supposed to do. Looked good on countertop but didn’t fit slices of larger loaves.

Spend the extra $ and get a better quality

Doesn’t toast both sides of the toast well.

Disappointing

First, there was no lever to pop up the toast in case it was burning. Consistency and toasting was hit or miss. After only a few months, it quit testing correctly no matter what you put it on.

Cheap

The toaster does the job for sure. But it’s very cheaply made. My suggestion would be to spend a little more it will be worth it. I wish I didn’t buy it

Don’t waste your money!

I have tried to write this review four times and just as I am finishing it deletes it. It’s an awful toaster even for the inexpensive price. If you see the picture you can see that it doesn’t even toast a regular slice of bread. At least one to 2 inches sticks out of the top. There’s no way to pop the bread up early either. You have to unplug it to get it to do that. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I used to have a Hamilton Beach that was much sturdier than this one. I have to hold down the back of the toaster when I push the handle down to toast my bread/bagel. I’m disappointed because I’ve had a black and decker single serve coffee maker for several years and the quality is excellent!!

It stays cool on the outside. I chose it because i wanted simple features. It has a bagel and a frozen setting. It fits small spaces. It toasts beautully.

Good toaster.

Easy to use, makes good toasts. Nice looking design, reasonable price. Not easy to clean inside toaster.

The settings for the how light or dark the toast is don’t work. I’ll have it on between five and six and it still comes out barely warmed up. I wish I had kept my receipt and box, I would’ve returned it.

A Brand New Toaster

The Black and Decker toaster was a responsible purchase. It was brand new. My breakfast toast was golden in color which was a preferable result. The toaster was not refurbished either. I plan on buying more appliances from Walmart.com!

I thought I was purchasing a new toaster but when it was delivered the box was all taped up and could tell toaster was used. Not cool!!

Disappointed gramma

I had it 10 days %26 used 5 times. Then the lever evidentially broke cuz it wouldn’t stay down to start the toasting process. It also was so light weight that it lifted the back end of the toaster when I pushed the lever down. Foot grips were non existent. Cheaply made

Qualified answer

Designed for bagels, so the slots are wide, but too short for most of the whole grain breads we prefer. For bagels, unevenly toasted; white bread browned just okay.

I need a toaster that has a release feature to stop toasting, if bread is getting too brown. Taking bread out without burning ones fingers is another reason I dislike this model.

U get what u pay for!

This toaster is lightweight and cheaply made. It does not toast the bread dark enough, and does not have a button to pop the toast up

Lack of a cancel button is ridiculous. On TRADITIONAL NOT-DUMB TOASTERS you can just push the lever back up. This one will not let you do that. So the only way to cancel is to unplug which is really stupid! Or you could change the toast level to minimum but then have to set it back which is annoying AF. So stupid!

This was a cheap toaster, but I at least expected it to hold bagels. Also expected a cancel button. The only way you can stop it from toasting is to unplug it! Of course, if you have it on a low setting, the toast does pop up. I toast a lot of bagels and they stick inside of it as the openings are not wide enough. and also if you want to stop it early no cancel button. Not worth taking it back. I’ll just probably give it to Goodwill and go buy me a decent one.

Worth the money

I got it to toast my bread. It’s easy to use and easy to set up. Because it’s metal all around, everything gets hot so be careful when taking out your toasted items. Fingerprints are visible, but function over aesthetics for me. It fits the bimbo white bread perfectly, I’m not sure with other breads. I set mine to 3 and it toasts great, it’s golden on both sides.

Slots are not long enough for some breads.

This toaster works very well and seems to be well built. My only problem with it is that the toaster slots are too short to accommodate a slice of some premium breads such as the Pepperidge Farms "farmhouse" series. Other than that it is a great toaster.
