LOVE this grill. Easy to install.

Very well packed, and the instructions were clear enough. There was one defective part which the manufacturer replaced for free, so it took about a week from start to finish. I was most eager to try the sear burner, so my first meal was a nice thick steak. It works great.

This grill is HUGE! I cooked steaks for 13 people in one cooking. The side burner is perfect and the searing rack is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! Excellent purchase!

Pay for assembly or pass on it

Tiny machine bolts, imperfect parts, some slightly bent, near impossible to get some of the tiny bolts in due to misalignment of parts. Some do not align at all. Unclear instructions, and from my viewpoint, questionable design quality. Not my first rodeo. I’ve put many together over many years, this was hands down the worst to assemble

Sturdy grill. Instructions stink to put it together. If they put together a video that would have helped. But overall a good grill and good cover

Do not buy

Product is very heavy, shipping companies just let it fall. It requires extensive assembly. We had a major part damaged. It happened to be out side return window and they cant return it. Such a waste.

The bottom shelf (EJDB17H5B-RGC) arrived damaged & unusable. I am awaiting a response from Royal Gormet. They don't answer their phone (it disconnects automatically) so the only way to contact them is email??? Not a good start!

areived late and damaged

I ordered this grill before fathers day hoping itll come the day it said it would. Never did it ended up coming 4 days later and also damaged. The box it was in was not damaged this products was damaged before package. Not happy at all. We had to bend pieces back to place to screw together.

Gril took a while to assemble. About two hours. Used it for the first time last night and it was a joy to use. Seared well and the steaks came out great. Easy to clean.

Better hope and pray you dont need to return any items!

I ordered the Royal Gourmet BBQ Grill and the package arrived completly beat up. There was over 7 large dents, a hinge to the lid was broken, and missing parts for the door. I ordered this grill over a month ago thinking I could use it to gill this summer. It took them so long just to schedule someone to pick it up and Fingerhut still hasnt recived the package. A month has gone buy and I dont have a replacement and I dont have a refund. At this point I really just want a refund and will not be making these type of purchases from fingerhut in the future. Returns are WAY to lenghty and Complicated!

The quality is what you should expect of a $200-300 grill at best.
