After much research and comparison with comparable Jura and Delonghi machines, I decided on the KF7. I am entirely satisfied and impressed by the machine. It's capabilities, ease of use, and quality of drinks is impressive. It does use A LOT of water, but I trust it will lead to the longevity of the machine. I would highly recommend.

I ordered this online and the process was very easy. The machine arrived 2 days later. The whole family use it and it is so easy. I like that you can change the grind as this changes the flavour for different beans. The water reservoir is a good size. Cleaning is also very easy. Upgraded from a pod machine and very happy I have.

After years of using Nespresso, I was ready to ditch the coffee pods. I researched fully automatic espresso machines and KitchenAid had the best features, including a removable bean hopper where you can easily switch between regular and decaf beans. The selection of coffee drinks is great and the machine allows many customizations. The self-cleaning features are also great, although it does go through a lot of water, requiring frequent refilling.

Great machine if you enjoy lukewarm lattes…

I am so utterly disappointed in this machine! After reading about every review on the Internet, my husband and I decided to pull the trigger on this when it was on sale several weeks ago. There were about 2-3 reviews that the coffee ended up not being very hot, but compared to the overall very positive reviews, I assumed these were just picky people. Sadly, I was wrong. When ours arrived, we immediately began making lattes and found to our dismay that they came out lukewarm at best. In fact, when measured with our kitchen thermometer, they barely read 120° after brewing. They should be between 150°-160°. I called customer support this morning and they told me that this is normal and required to avoid “milk curdling” and “for safety”. This is crazy and unacceptable!!

The KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine KF7 is a great addition to my kitchen. The stainless steel looks amazing with all of my other appliances. The touch screen is easy to navigate and use. It was very easy to set up and get started. I love that it allows you to save your own drink preferences to quickly make your favorite drinks. While it took me a bit of experimenting to find what I liked, everything I have made has tasted good. I appreciate that it walks you through the cleaning process, especially after using milk, so you can be sure that the machine is staying clean and the next time you use it there won’t be any residue. Speaking of milk, I also like that you can put the hose into any container with the milk and you aren’t required to use the milk tank that is included. As I’m usually just making a drink for myself, I don’t see a need to fill the milk tank. I do suggest being careful though as the plastic piece at the end of the hose will collect milk if it is fully submerged in the milk.

So far so good been using it for 2weeks.I think user manual could be more informative it doesn't explain things. ie how to clean. How to descale where to buy descaling tablets. Tried to buy through web site but they don't have it

I used the Shop app in the past to buy from KitchenAid. When researching payment options and browsing their products, I must have pushed the buy button. There was no 'are you sure' question, just processed straight away! I realised the error instantly and rang their customer service line. They told me there was nothing they could do. I was a proud owner of an item I could not afford and I did not want (right now).

The KitchenAid KF7 Espresso Machine is a top notch machine. My primary coffee machine for the last year or so has been a Jura Z10 which by all accounts is the machine to beat in the category. I can safely say the KF7 is hot on its heels.

Kitchenaid is a common household name, which may or may not be good in the upscale coffee market. The KF7 does bring some new and welcome features not widely found yet. First off, the primary design is a sleek stainless steel machine with a 2.2 L water tank. A touchscreen shows very clear images and options. My personal favorite feature, however, is the removable bean hopper. If you want to switch beans for different drinks, just rotate and pick the hopper up. I decided to try a new bag of beans I got as a gift, no stress. It also helps with making cleanup easier, for those who are OCD and need to clean the hopper periodically. I personally think Kitchenaid should advertise this feature more. Next, the unique feature is the quietness of the machine. Some automatic espresso machines have such loud grinding and brewing that it can sound like an old gas lawnmower going off. The Kitchenaid KF7 is certified by QuietMark, which means the noise level is independently tested and certified.

I’ve had a few espresso machines in the past, including some fairly premium ones, but I always found some reason to stop using them after a while. This Kitchenaid has some automated features that to me really set it above any of the others I’ve used.

[Rewarded Review] Best Espresso Machine

I have owned espresso machines for over 40 years and can say this KitchenAid machine is the best. The design is elegant, the functionality is easy to use, and they got the details correct. Starting with design, the machine has a stainless-steel finish with soft curves and looks elegant. On the front is the adjustable dispenser with a nice touch of white light that wraps around the top. The color touchscreen controls are well-designed and easy to use. On the right side of the machine is the power button, which is an elongated pill-shaped stainless steel, making it easy to locate. On the left side is the large water tank. The water tank is easy to lift out and fill. On the top back is the sizeable removable coffee hopper. The removable hopper makes switching out beans and cleaning the hopper easy. A purge function ensures that all beans are cleared out of the grinder. The top covers are ridged and a nice place to store your cups so that they are close.

The KitchenAid KF7 is a FULLY automatic espresso machine designed for performance and convenience. Practically every aspect of drink creation is customizable through menu options - the only manual intervention you can make is for grind size (and I was unable to see any appreciable differences in drink quality along the spectrum of grind sizes). Even the milk steaming/frothing is done to order by the machine.

After thinking about it, I bought my machine in July. In October, it came up with a message that I couldn’t remove. I called Kitchenaid and thought they would refer me to a repair facility. No, within two days I had a new machine. No questions asked. This is the way to do business and it’s also the way to make an espresso maker, that is fully automatic, easy to use, and produces above par Coffee drinks. I am elated that I can wake up push the button and have a great cappuccino or macchiato. The machine is expensive, but knowing the Kitchenaid is behind me makes all the difference. I love a good cup of coffee and the best way to get it is with this fully automatic Espresso machine. If I could Rate it six stars I would.

[Rewarded Review] Pretty Expensive but worth it

While it looks large, to me the overal space consideration was not overtly big maybe because while tall, it is fairly narrow. It is expensive but is solidly beat for long time usage and the including cleaning features are fantastic from the milk cleaning set up to the bean hopper cleaning and yo the brewing itself.

This KitchenAid automatic espresso machine is so easy to use. It is very stylish and sleek. The touchscreen pad seamlessly transitions to different brews and concoctions so you can make anything you want with just the push of a couple of buttons. You can set up user profiles with different settings for different brews if your tastes differ slightly from other users in your household. Even within specific drinks you can control multiple settings. The included recipe booklet is a nice addition if you want to try some new things outside of your typical espresso drinks. Cleaning is simple. All you have to do is empty the water collection pan, and the coffee grind pucks are collected in a container that you can just dump when it tells you to. The milk system runs a quick-clean after each use to keep it clean. After so many cycles, the machine will do a deep cleaning. Again, so easy to use- the machine does it all for you. I called KitchenAid customer service- not because I had an issue, but because I wanted to see how responsive and helpful they were. They passed the test. I would highly recommend this machine.
