Perfect choice

Great product, the design and quality of this faucet is so pleasing. They come in several finishes to suit one’s desired look. We’re very satisfied with the quality of features that make using the faucet for various tasks, very smooth.

Takes some getting used to- but we like it.

My plumber recommended this model. I was a little hesitant to get it but I do like it. My favorite feature is the pull down sprayer. I didn’t think I’d use it often but I find that it is very handy for rinsing dishes and cleaning out the sink. I also like the stainless steel finish that doesn’t show water spots or finger prints. It has taken a while to get used to the new faucet. I accidentally wet my sleeves a number of times but I’ve adjusted to the change now. I hope this new Moen faucet lasts as long as the 20 year old Moen it replaced.

First of all, I love this kitchen faucet. Moen did such a good job designing and executing this product. I highly recommend for anyone looking at similar products to purchase this one. Some points to address about why I love: - Motion Feature (waving hand over motion sensor on top) : the waving feature works soooo well! If you don't believe in smart home stuff, at least get this faucet or the version without Alexa/google because it is so convenient to wave over the faucet for the water. It makes cooking and cleaning slightly more bearable. Imagine rinsing your chicken before cooking it, now you can turn the water on and off without touching/contaminating anything. I love the feature so much and it feels so right that I am now waving over all the faucets I come to on accident. - Voice activated : I can understand how many people find this unnecessary, but I really enjoy being able to tell my faucet how much water to dispense or to warm up water. I tested how accurate it was, and it is really good! I use the feature for baking or filling a pot with a certain amount of water per the instructions. One critique is that sometimes Alexa gets in a mood where she wants to open the function instead of just doing what we asked her to. - Install : I don't have a lot of experience with plumbing (none). It took me 3x longer to remove the existing faucet than it took me to install. I got to the end of the instructions and kept thinking, "this can't be it, it was too easy!" My install time included setting up the app, connecting to the wifi, etc. Not only are the directions simple, but they have streamlined the install by having your water lines click in using a feature similar to what you would find on a hiking water bladder hose. - Misc. : -It has 3 buttons on the pull down hose nozzle. They are normal water stream, sprayer, and a button separate for stronger water. -Auto off feature is interesting. The faucet will automatically turn off after a certain length of time. This can be annoying, but I also like the security of knowing that if I walk away while the water is running, it will turn off on its own. With the wave feature, it is so easy to turn back on that it has not been an issue. -sprayer feature is not the best. The normal water stream is great, but the other option to create a higher pressure "shower"/sprayer leaves everything around it covered in mist. It really isn't useful without getting water everywhere. -pull down nozzle feature is very helpful when cleaning the sink. If you have it pulled down and turn off the sink it goes back up into the normal position. -light where the motion sensor is shows if the water is hot (fully red) or cold (fully blue). The temp I keep it at, you normally kind of see both. This is nice because whatever the lever was set on determines the water temp when you are using the motion sensor. Overall, it is a great product that I have used for a few months and really love.

I did the install myself and it was a lot easier to install this faucet than it was to remove my old one. Everything needed for the install was included if I had normal plumbing... My kitchen sink had shutoff valves with the lines attached so I could not connect the lines from the Moen control box as they were both female connectors. My kitchen plumbing uses the push to connect adapters so I replaced them with standard valves that have a male connector. The motion detection/hand wave feature is probably my favorite thing about this faucet. I did install the smart app and connect it with my google home and Alexa speakers. Using voice assistance is a cool function but not something I would use regularly. I tested the measured dispense command and used a measuring cup to confirm it is accurate. The app allows you to create presets and view your water usage by day, week, month, year. My only wish is that it would integrate with my SmartThings hub. At the time of this review I was unable to find any integrations for SmartThings but hope something becomes available in the future.
